So I have a few PBN sites that I have written an article on and linked back to money sites, as well as linked to the article from the homepage to pass the juice. It's still not registering in Ahrefs or as a backlink. Can anyone provide some insight on the best way to set up the actual links within the material so they show up as a backlink for our money sites?

That's not you goal. Your goal is to rank! As long as I rank, I couldn't care less if Ahrefs shows my link or not.

If your goal is to grow ahrefs metrics - then your question is correct.
However, there's no surefire way of making ahrefsbot crawl your page.
You can check any single ahrefs metric inside ahrefs dashboard. Also you can build a couple of links to that pbn. These actions are likely to send a spider faster to your page.

If your goal is more traditional (rankings) - then you should not care about ahrefs repts. Just make sure your page with a link is indexed and cashed by Google!

Good luck

wait for backlink indexing once it will be done then you will see on ahref or others

The goal is ranking, not Ahrefs metrics. That's just the only way I can measure what I'm doing. I really appreciate the help and input. Thanks boys!

Firstly... Ahrefs, Majestic and others take their time showing links.

Secondly... why in the world do you want to do that? Do you want your competitors to see your PBN? Hide it.

Ahref are not google and their crawler requires a certain amount of time to get the links

Don't worry. Ahrefs database is much smaller than Google's one:) So check your link indexation in Google (manually, for instance). And hide your links, you don't need to show it for your competitors.

I'm still new man, how do I go about that?

Put these in the robots.txt:

User-agent: * Disallow: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow: / - hide your links from MOZ

User-agent: SemrushBot Disallow: / - from SEMRush

User-agent: xenu Disallow: / - from Xenu

User-agent: MJ12bot Disallow: / - from Majestic

User-agent: AhrefsBot Disallow: / - from Ahrefs

You can either do it manually via .htaccess or use a plugin (or do it manually via PHP)

Search on this forum. Was mentioned million times.
