How to force Google to index my pages?

Have you tried the Video Sitemap trick?

No, looks like take time to index as it`s a fresh blog. I will not force anymore google because I`m pretty sure it`s not right.

Also, video sitemap is not forcing anything.

You cant exactly force it - what you can do is encourage google by registering on GWT, then setting up a sitemap and pointing PBN and social signals at the website.

I have had the exact same issue recently. Its very strange. My site is 6 months old and has a fair amount of content - almost 20,000 words.
I published a new article almost a month ago now, article was around 1k words in length, and its still not indexed.
It shows the same message in WMT - Crawled - currently not indexed.

Even more strange is that the category pages have been re-crawled and I can see reference to the new post in the google cache for those category pages. But still the primary article is not indexed.

In my case after I submit every 1-2 days articles looks like Google don`t like it, he index after two weeks half and the other half still not indexed. I am afraid the only way it`s to drive social shares and maybe some backlinks to them to index it; i do not think to force Google to fetch the URL it`s not good at all, not because it looks spammy, but just because he will not index anyway but just crawl it.

So yeah,google it`s fucked up now.

You can only submit the link for indexing. One cannot assure indexing for sure. It is all upto Google and it's criteria. Be sure to follow all the Google guidelines. Avoid over optimising as it might also affect your result. All the best!

If you are on wordpress then do basic seo of your pages by using yoast seo and create sitemap using yoast plugin and then submit again to the google and you will surely go up.

I have a new site one-month-old, I post quality content with video, images, optimized, everything. Still, don`t index more than half.

I check sitemaps in G webmaster, and they said:

Crawled - currently not indexed

What does this mean? All of them will not be indexed at all? :O

The only true way to get it around without issues would be to share on reddit or other media. Not quite a hard task, but does the job. Get some organic traffic.

I think possibly I made a rookie error here; I had all of the category and tag pages set to be indexed, and I think the first few lines of the article in question were being picked up automatically on some of the category and tag pages and then being used as the meta description for those pages, which were indexed in Google. So perhaps google decided not to index my article because the first few lines appeared on several other pages. Just a theory but now I have set the category and tag pages to noindex, and will see if that helps.

It's got nothing to do with quality of article, DA or PA etc, they are just being super selective.

For example a month ago it was fairly easy to get near 70% of all links built to website to index.
Now its probably neater the 10 to 20% mark.

I ran a test this week building GSA links.
1 month ago 70% indexed now today it's close to 15%.

What this is going to result in is more spam. You now need to build 5 times the amount of links just to achieve the same amount of links to be indexed.

Yes you may be right, if that's the case they haven't finished yet.
The totally weird thing about this, is if they are going for quality then they have screwed up big time.
Out of the test they index crappy profile links which have no authority and no value what so ever, while not indexing good quality unique contextual articles.
I honestly think at this stage google has broken google.

Yea good point. It is true in my case as well - my 1500 word article (which I wrote myself) did not get indexed, but the archive and category pages (which each contained an identical 100 word snippet of the article) did. Go figure. It must be something related to that and Google trying to work smarter on determining quality without expending too much workload perhaps.

GUYS,I found a trick,they index all of them.

So,plan it`s simple.

1. Make sure you put an eye-catchy image on the article( of course article-related)
2. Pin the image on Pinterest / facebook on some groups/boards or your groups few times for 1-3 days until having some natural repins, shares.
3. Look at this image, I mean from that ones, not even 1% comes to my site, but I`ve got all my pages indexed. Moahaha

As well as changing the category and archive pages to noindex, I also ran some twitter ads today directed at the page in question. Now its indexed At first I had thought it was the category and archive page changes that had done it, but I guess its most likely the twitter ads seeing as others mentioned that social shares helped with indexing.

Anyway, I have another similar post thats just gone up today, I am going to leave that one alone and see what happens regarding indexing.
