Alright so I have made a custom reddit bot which is a bit more advanced than the others in some ways. It works great but the issue I have is while botting the BIG subreddits. There is no issue if the post is well received and it starts getting natural upvotes, only if I have to force it on the front page. If you do reddit you might want to listen and read because there may be some good advice in the thread.
After some upvotes (I'd say 100-150) it gets ghosted and not visible on the subreddit. Sometimes it's visible but WAAY lower in the hot section than it should be but it appears in the new section. So it's penalized. So to get some things out out of the way:
- it's coded well in such a way that each user will browse around the sub and upvote random posts before it upvotes the one you want. Because of this, I always get 100% post retention with blank, new accounts. I know direct link upvotes are a problem, so that's not an issue
- I use only blank, new accounts. Could this be the issue? Again, it works perfectly for most subs but the huge ones are the ones I have a problem with and that's if the other users don't receive the post well
- I also use public proxies. It's coded in such a way that it can use public proxies without errors or a problem so upvotes or account creations don't get lost due to bad proxies. Still, could this be the problem?
- Of course, I regulate the speed of upvotes. I don't deliver them too quickly or anything like that. I can randomize the upvote delays in intervals.
So does anyone know? Are accounts causing this issue or are proxies using the issue? Maybe both? No guesses please, I'd like someone who has some experience because I don't want to be misled. The bot has no errors in itself and works perfectly so I think the only two solutions could be one of the two.
Thanks a lot for anyone who is willing to help.
