Flippa Homepage

Their new home page is an attempt to make them look more professional (now they're marketing it as if they're selling "businesses") . We all know they're selling mainly mediocre websites often with fake stats and revenue reports. Their new home page doesn't change a thing in my mind though it was good move if they're trying to naturally attract more professional buyers.

Any good alternate to flippa? Also why such hate towards flippa?

I planned to sell my site there in the future.

Have you actually had any first hand-experience buying or selling through either, or are you just recommending on a whim?
i don't have. but i keep hearing raving reviews frequently about them especially empire flippers. :)

Wow, I've got auctions running and hadn't been on. Didn't know they changed the layout. Nice & clean layout, bit annoying as it's much different from the original.

That's what I thought. I'm not going to weigh in on FE because the owner is a friend of mine and I'm biased because I'd never say anything to hurt him, but I can speak a bit on Empire. Empire Flippers is part of the Chang Mai circle jerk community of American nomads who move to Asia (Matt Diggity, Charles Floate, etc). They have a $100k a year dinner budget, so basically just roam around building a tribe of circle jerkers. I don't want to get into my story with them, but they've wasted a lot of my time and do some dirty shit. Also the stats on their homepage are fabricated.

Quiet Light Brokerage (specifically the Exec VIP @bryanon who is a broker there) is one of the most underrated brokerages out there. Bryan is an exceptional guy.

You've confirmed my assumptions about EmpireFlippers. I bought a site from them 6 months ago. While I've made it work, revenues were overstated and I've recovered some of my investment.

They do nothing in terms of customer support. They basically abdicated themselves from responsibility. Amateurs dressed up as a powerhouse.

Here's some cream,

I've outbidded everybody with two auctions and paid for the two sites from two different sellers.

Sites had fake stats and I filled fraud. Lawyer contacted and retrieved the two sellers personal info.

One refunded me but the other disappeared but I chargeback my money.

I'll give Quiet Light Brokerage and FE a go then :)
