So how much are you making in general as you make so many such sites?

just for fun and private usage lol. I'm sharing to the small group. It's not for money. It's so cheap and no need to maintain, I leave them there for months/years.

Humanity is a very expensive thing According to Alexa the first site is ranked ~1,600 in the world. Though Alexa is not very accurate metrics, I can bet the site gets millions visits a day. Therefore it needs a few high-performance servers and extended technical support, which would cost at least $3000-4000 per month, $40,000-50,000 per year. And maybe 10 times more. There are not so many programmers who are comfortable with investing $50000 per year in the humanity

While your statements are have a good chance at being correct for these high-traffic sites, OP's universal statement is purely not true. One would give free service without getting anything. I thought that statement was a little ignorant.
