Is twitter still relevant in 2018?

Hi guys, as I had been lurking in this forum. I'm not seeing any good stuff on twitter, does marketing on twitter still a thing? Or everybody have switched to IG?

with bots I find it just gets your account suspended more the anything....i find if you do it the old fashioned way, say like follow 50-100 users a day by hand no bots and hope maybe 20 of them follow back and then the next day follow 100 more and repeat until you are at the 2000 follower limit. wait a week, unfollow to correct your ratio and then do it again..it will take like 2 months lol but you'll have like a account with 5000 followers to 1500 follows ratio

I think it is only relevant for celebrities and memes.

I checked my personal twitter account last week for the first time is years. Majority of my friends weren't actually tweeting things, just retweeting things they thought were funny.

People are still using twitter, so yes, it is still relevant, although it depends on your niche and marketing skills.

Twitter is still massive. One of my accounts is gaining around 1000 people every day, and traffic to my sites keeps increasing.

Instagram and Twitter is like chalk and cheese.

I wonder if people notice when they get unfollowed by you using some reporting tools etc and unfollow you back? Any insight?

It's still of value but I wuldn't make it the core of any sort of business now.

Follow the money... whatever they are building all the bots for is where the money is at

As long as there are people on the platform its relevant. From a marketing perpective.

And i mean were not talking about some social network that popped up 3 days ago thats only used by its creator, his mother and his dog. Its twitter. Its still relevant. Shit, myspace is probably still relevant as far as that goes
