I need help with making sales on ebay. Issue is i dont get any views, while my competitors get a ton of them. At one point i had 3000 items listed and only 1 sold, i then priced my items lower than my competitors, and still nothing. I did promoted listings, and still no luck, i get like 18 views per day total, through a ton of listings i have. Can someone give me some pointers!

thanks

in drop shipping? what items are you posting?
are they stupid expensive?

from what I can tell you have a fuck load of items for way to much money and everyone else is selling the same exact item, but a couple pennies less just to outrank you, plus their titles are probably insanely optimized for search traffic. I have a feeling you have not optimized each and every listing like your competitors but better?

i dont drop ship, i have access to automotive parts at a low cost, which is what im listing. Items i sell are expensive $1,000+...and yes everyone else can get these items, but i can sell for less..only thing is i dont get views....im trying to find tools to help optimize my titles, maybe that is the issue...my listings are unique, more simpler thank all the junk my competitors put in their listings. i just state the important points

okay, all you need to do is honestly, make the title make sense but with the most searchable keywords regarding that particular item possible, + buzz words like "NEW", "NIB" = new in box, look at the top 10 competitors, just revamp their title into your own. Capitalize Every Single Letter In The Title, I noticed this helps just with instant user visual appeal.

also, learn to use HTML in your description, also if you have access to the actual items I would post REAL photos of the auto part you are trying to sell. Just to add the extra proof, just add <img src= blah blah short bullet point description on your post, nothing fucking crazy and long explanation with a bunch of fluff no need everyone hates reading, just post the important shit like the specs.

another thing, don't add just 1 or 2 photos, add at least 5 IMO, especially if that shit is 1k + Jesus Christ.

It also depends on how new you are. If you have a history of lots of sales, good seller performance (top rated), long time member status, etc., that should rank you higher in the listings. If you just started and haven't made a lot of sales yet, don't have a lot of feedback, etc., you'll rank lower.

You need to focus on few essential points while selling on ebay.
1. You need to have highest grade ebay store. This is very important to get more visibility to your products.
Also the store subscription should be of higher grade. It is very simple. The more monthly fixed amount you pay to ebay, the more views expressions and views you get to your products. (After all ebay want to have good chunk from your profit)
With this surely you would get more visibility. Now you need to focus on getting more sale.
2.Spy on all the top rated sellers in your niche and target geography. Check what products they are targeting, what is their selling price, check their feedback score, store presentation, any special discounts they offer, the shipping cost, delivery time and all other stuff about your competitor.
3.With above data you will get areas of improvements for your store.Try to get one step ahead of your competitors in every aspect.
4.Since you are selling high price items it is good idea to offer some special gifts (small value but attractive and preferably in the same niche of your main product). People love freebies.
5. terapeak.com is a great tool to do in depth analysis of ebay. Check what is selling more in your niche, at what price, in what geo try to focus on every aspect of this tool.

All the Best!
