How do I get this thought out my head that if more people get into e-commerce, then it won't work for us anymore?

This is what I think - Many people are watching tons and tons of tutorials on how to make money online on youtube and even buying premium courses by spending $$$$s and also buying websites. Putting aside the people watching make money online videos on youtube, what about those people who are spending a good amount of money on courses.

Don't you think that if those people are highly focused to make money after buying premium courses, then I.M. will not be that easy and will be very hard for the current successful people in e-commerce businesses?

The fact is that 90+ % of the people who buy those courses will never put those methods into action. They are simply attracted to "shiny objects" and hoping that somehow by owning those courses they will will be put on the road to untold wealth. Also, don't worry about competition. If you are putting your best, most focused effort into your marketing, you have already leaped over most of your competitors. Very few people want to invest the time and effort into I.M.

The business model of those "gurus" aka clowns is to sell courses. Only a few many have no idea what they are talking about. They got their whole knowledge from YouTube, BHW or other platforms. If someone is soooooo suuuuuuper successful on Shopify, Facebook, Instagram etc. then why the fuck are they making a course and basically create their own competition? Because they are not successful in what they are preaching.

Someone who bought a course already lost and will never reach something. Someone who needs to get spoonfeed will also not reach anything. Why? Because they simply don't have the mentality to be successful. "Oh I am going to buy a course on how to make $xxxxxx per month I will be super successful and rich next month" The truth is no one of them will take action and if it comes to taking action it needs more than just watching a course. It needs a mindset, a mentality and ambitiousness. The will to learn and make experiences by themselves. Someone who is buying a course or got spoonfeed is not an ambitious person or using their own brain. They basically let other people do the work right from the very beginning. They won't reach anything.

I can't understand how people always have this desire to "follow" or "believe" in someone. To follow "Tai Lopez" to follow "Jordan Belfort" etc., but actually they are just fans. How about believing in yourself?!

It's called competition and it does get tougher and tougher every year.

A few years ago you could launch a site and watch it grow magically, now it's 1000X tougher than that.

90% of people who buy courses are expecting some sort of super special awesome secret that will make them gazillion of dollars without putting much work in. That's the reality of it and has been for a long time. Which is why you see so many gurus online selling MMO courses. Trends change from affiliate marketing, to e-commerce, to crypto, but the end goal is still the same - to sell courses. Gurus are well aware of the fact that majority will not put in any effort and will just keep buying courses.

I think that majority won't do shit. Then there's some that will put effort until they encounter their first obstacle and quit. After them goes people with little more patience, who will go for a while and if they won't get results, they will quit. And the winners are those who stick with it no matter what they encounter. That's that 1%.

Most people are lazy and they are being sold on this idea of fast internet money and that's just how people are. I'm guilty of this and every so often you have to keep yourself in check and remind yourself that it's gonna be difficult and long journey, but it's worth it. You are competing with that 1% of actions takers and that's a good thing. You can out-do majority of people just by doing hard work alone.

Most of those gurus selling courses are teaching you basic stuff. Like, really basic. Mostly outdated.
The ones who actually know what they're talking about (Mr. Opulent for instance) will price their courses as high as 15.000$, teach you advanced techniques (which you'll be able to find for free on BHW anyway), but not advanced enough for you to have equal success, because that'd ruin their own. It's nothing to worry about, really. Like, 1 out of 10.000 people who try will have moderate success, 1 out of 100.000 will be able to replace their offline income. Subreddits about dropshipping, online marketing and so on are proof of that. Just look at the Entrepreneur one, it's a big joke. They're all living a shiny dream that will turn into a nightmare very soon once they're confronted with reality. Or if you want to have a really good laugh, go to 4chong's biz.

It's not "just they don't take action" as much as it is they don't know HOW to take action on what the gurus say. Most tutorials teach on WHAT to do, but are skimpy on how to accomplish the methods, how to sequence, how to deal with obstacles (like a key tool or site no longer being available) etc. Gurus might provide that extra info in additional courses, but usually not.

It's like how my friends see the success I'm having with IM.

Initially, when friends would ask me to teach them, I'd spend several hours with each person explaining the basics, how to get started, the best practices I learned, etc. Only 1 person out of about 15 even bought a domain + setup Wordpress. They quit after writing their first article.

After that, whenever friends would ask me to teach them, I told them to buy a domain, setup Wordpress, and start writing content for their site. Once they had 10 articles published, I would then help them. Out of the 30 or so friends that have asked me, exactly zero have done anything.

As others have said, most people don't take action when given advice. They see the success of others and want some magic secret on how to accomplish things. In reality, it comes down to hard work and consistency... and people are lazy.

But the more expensive courses usually are more extensive as well as they offer a community ( usually a members forum or fb group ) where you can ask questions when you encounter obstacles or unknown things.

And also, that's the point of what other members mentioned here. Most people go way ahead of themselves by asking things that they haven't even encountered yet. And I'm all up for planning things ahead, but most of the time you don't really know what's going to go wrong and thinking way too upfront paralyzes you to take any kind of action in the first place. Overthinking and over-analyzing only distract you from what's right in front of you right now.

Point being, that those who really determined to make it work, will go that extra mile to research things and to test them. Courses, in my opinion ( and I'm really not against them, because there are some very good ones out there ), are just frameworks, just like those methods people post on this forum. You gotta go and build things around that framework with your own touch and see what works and what doesn't.

If you know what you want you will figure out how to get it. Yet you still see these threads everyday on this forum asking how to make 50 cents a month etc. which only tells me that it's not the problem with information but with the mindset.

Gurus courses are basically Ponzi Schemes: they sell you a course about how to sell, so you can sell other people about how to sell and so on. So each level pays the bills of the previous level hoping there will be a next level that pays for his.

Mindset is the main thing. This can lead you to success or failure. How you think your future will be is completely on your mindset.
If your mindset is average, then the person will always struggle and will just survive on offline jobs but will still fail to see the struggle day to day and will complain he/she is destined for a life that. They will blame their fate for that life. Something I have seen recently with my neighbors.

This part is so true. People always ask me what I do and how they can get into it. Some close friends I've tried putting on the right path, but even if I put it directly in their face they still won't take action. I'm not sure if it's a mindset thing or what, but people are JUST like that.

Off topic kind of, but BHW is literally a gold mine. I still find so much information today just by reading older posts and getting ideas. If you read this forum consistently and put in the effort, you WILL be successful, no doubt about it.
