I've been noticing a lot of accounts just posting the same picture everyday of something, such as a person, animal, object, etc... and they receive, what seems to me, quite a lot of followers. What's the point of this strategy? can you promote something using this method?

Make image unique in the front and on the back. They use f/u, so it`s not a big deal, even if you don`t post anything still someone will follow you back.

whats a lot of followers? might be artificial

with the same picture people can get bored by seeing all the time isn't it?

I guess so, but I just want to know if this is some long term strategy, because what would be the point?

I guess some people wouldn't mind seeing a daily picture of an orange everyday? lol

I saw some have over 3k and one has over 10k.

3k it`s nothing mate; you can do with a bot in a month easily. I was thinking you talk about big accounts.

I get that, but my main question is what's the point of this type of account in the long run.

people follow dumb shit just to follow dumb shit because everyone just follows what everyone else is doing.

for example: when Trump was running for president, somebody made a twitter account that was literally a picture of a loaf of bread, and they simply branded it, "lets see if a loaf of bread can get more followers than trump and make him mad" or something along those lines, that being said millions of fucking idiots followed this twitter account just because of a fad, and posting the same picture over and over again is just that, won't last long imo.

I don`t know mate,mad people are everywhere :D

Can't argue with that lol!

I didn't know that whole loaf of bread thing existed lol. Perhaps there could still be some use to it. Anyways, thanks for the reply!

No they dont monetize it. Its just a stupid trend with the youngsters lol. Theres some 30k+ accounts doing that too btw

I don't think this is an strategy, just a trend.
