anyone mining crypto on VPS? recommended server?

You're going to spend more on the VPS than you'll gain from mining. Think about it, why would they rent you a VPS for say $5/month if they could just install mining software and make $10/month while also not having to deal with customers.
You'll probably spend a buck and make a penny; so you'll lose 99 cents of every dollar spent.

if you are not seriously , come to mining is not and will not be cheap. I feel elecircity is secondary , since BTC vaule vary , u never know one day bullish a lot for months or bearish for months etc , so literlaly people either keep or sell if really need some money . For me , come to BTC just use browser to mine , yes is just cents do caculation it take years and years for u even make 1 BTC , but since CPU is there nothing to lose , as daily surft net , etc on the same time make full use of your computer. What i mean just few cents , slolwy build to few bucks , 10, 20 bucks when BTC value is up is triple value . I mean nothing to lose just min with browser. Next is master node , u buy master node to earn no need alwasy on your computer . I not say dam expert on cypprocurrncy , is just vary since eveyrone value is different , thougths etc. Those big mining farm spend few hundred k etc mining . the expenses already a lot come to buying those mining machine not just one but alot , electircity ? i douht they even bother even .

You would spend more on a VPS server than you would make from mining from it. You would be better off using something like miner gate on your home computer than using a VPS system.

master node yes, its different thing with mining even have same things by giving result of cryrpto. MN is pos and im guess what OP mean in mining for POW

yup, anyway I just mine for fun for pennies , since I use computer a lot just cater a bit power for mining . Free BTC just keep nothing to lose even value drop , as cyrpotcurrency just like currecny , market vary so price can be even higher in future or low etc.

it is not profitable, most coins required huge computations power , such servers cost more than 50usd per month and they mine coins for 5-7 usd per month... You can calculate this with online calculators for mining
how many computer you run?

Do note , using browser to mine just for " fun , earn free BTC " nothing is free 
but since you also surfing net just allocate abit power to mine ,while u surf net etc nothing to lose also at least got sometime in return . doing nothing
Want to play big is more on investment , buy BTC , aka trade or invest on alternative coins while their price still cheap " have to research a lot come to alternative coins as we know some is crap , etc where some is good in long run "

as mention is " for fun mine pennies
which I already mention , Just keep BTC inside wallets nothing to lose . One to earn more is more on investment.
