No need for a god in order to make scamming not a good idea, no need even for kamma. When Buddha was asked about this question by a non-buddhist, he said there are many benefits that will get by being a nice guy in this very life. Things like:
- everyone will like a fair person. Wherever he will go in this world, people will respect him
- when good people of this world will chose to do a good deed, help someone, or share something with another person - they will first do this to other good people, putting others at the end of the list
- a fair person lives proud no matter what bad things happen in his life
- his mind will be happy. Mental states and mental traits that are considered "good" actually do make a person happier overall.
- and many more benefits that I can't remember.
Also worth noting that people with an "anti social personality" (that's how scammers are technically called) have had their father either die when they were little, or their parents divorced and they were raised without a father. 85% of the prison juvenile population are people who were raised without a father. 1% of the population is like this.
Also worth nothing that money does certainly improve hapiness, but who is the happiest guy in the world, measured scientifically ? Who is being the most efficient when it comes to this aspect? Google it.

If you buy a service on here for $100 and you get scammed what will you do, no doubt you will be posting in the Shit list Thread saying you've been scammed and want Mods to sort it for you. So would you like it done to you? Money is tight for a lot of people out there, many people trying to earn some extra money to pay bills and you want to take it from them by scamming

"religious aspects" has nothing to do with being a normal person who don't want to make money by cheating others.Nothing that we 'own" is from uourself it's from God or call it whatever you like ,someday we will leave all the money even our body so work hard and don't follow bad things cuz mos of the people do that is insane.

This cracks me up. What's a "scam" in your own definition OP?
Let's say you have a service that you offer. You work hard for it and you "think" that it's very good to do the job.
Now, let's say we are the customers who tried your service. We later found out that your service sucks and it doesn't do the job you promised. We can easily call it a scam right?
On another example, let's say you built a crappy software, you're fully aware that it doesn't work and yet you still sell it to people. And same thing, we as the customers later found out that it doesn't work.
In both scenarios, you get to earn the money.
On 1st, you did your best "without" the intention trick people but was judged a "scammer" since your service doesn't provide what it promised.
On the 2nd, well, you intentionally tricked people and earn the money.
My point is, in whatever you do, if you think that what you're doing is good, then go for it. Later you might still be "judged" as a scammer by someone but what matters is that your intention is not to scam.
But if at the very beginning you already know that what your doing is shit, then expect karma going back at you.
Believe me, money earned by scamming is not worth. Karma will come back at you it different unique ways that you wouldn't even notice.
My 2 cents.

Materialism - the idea that consciousness originates from matter - has been refuted by science on numerous grounds. Believing in refuted ideas is the same as believing the world is flat. It's simply not flat, it's round, and there is nothing you can do about it other than adapt. Materialism never even claimed to be based on scientific facts. There was never even an attempted explanation about how could such as thing as consciousness originate from matter. It was an idea based on intuition, it does seem intuitive that materialism should be correct. Yet, the flat-earth idea was also intuitive. If you look in the distance, it appears to be flat. And yet, science has refuted both materialism and the flat earth idea. Intuition is not as reliable as it appears to be.
This of course does not mean this or that religion or world view is correct, it just means that you can not make decisions and judgements based on materialism because they will not be accurate. Unless you find the truth about how the world technically works, you are for the moment stuck with Pascals bet.
The idea that scamming and development of unwholesome mental tendencies will not harm you even the slightest is based on materialism. Since materialism has been refuted, this idea is a simple speculation. One should not make important decisions based on speculations.

Talking about the bold, how much have you achieved? talking money, fame, power etc. The world is very huge to that point not one of use knows what is real or correct. illusion, perspective etc all play a role in the things we see, know and think are correct. Unless these have been proven time without number with empirical data else you're just as incorrect as I am.
