Is this a good price?

I'm interestring in this project, too) Present please and good luck)

You always have to ask for the stats and analytics bro

People managing these accounts don't have a "pro" version of their Instagram so they don't have insights.

Anyway, I will do a recap of this promotion when it will be done but all I can tell you for the moment is that because pages like this want to make profit, they maximise promotions and their audience don't have the money or are just bored of seeing stuff to buy; I would not recommend it.

I think you could have asked to leave the post for at least 1 week.

Are you interested in advertising in a smaller acc? I have an acc with 17.8k followers in the fashion niche.

This isn't a thread for unauthorized JVs or buying/selling services !

Alright guys here are the results (the promotion ends in 2h30 but w/e)
-A total of 28.500 views on my video promoting my products.
-500 visits
-20 added to cart
-0 SALES!
-Main countries: USA, germany, france, italy.

So what is my conclusion: on that types of pages, people who are managing those accounts want to make a lot a money and maximise their profits which means doing a 24h promotion every... 24h! = the audience is getting bored of seeing everyday a new product to buy, they don't pay attention to it and/or they have spent money on the previous ads before you.
->To all sceptical people: my video is converting a lot of prospect on Facebook and is really good to promote my products, it's not a video's issue + my website is clear, pro ect... so NO the problem doesn't come from these two.

Now, I have learned that even with 4 pages and 1.2 million people you can reach a maximum of 28000 people and have 500 visits (not bad btw) but those persons may be too young to buy or just don't have money.

This being said, I would be happy to talk with people and hear what you have to say, we are here to learn from each other after all!

Do you have retargeting and a email sequence going out to them when they abandon cart?

If you do this you'll definitely get some sales if your products are converting on facebook...

you were better off doing facebook ads and running them on IG atleast you know your targeting and age range with $85 i probably could have made like $500 ...not all profit but NET.......the best way to run influencers like that is to do video post and incorporate the product in a viral fashion....you can't jus slap up a product in these days thats just my opinion

What did thier business insights look like before you bought?

I.e demographics, age groups etc?

Of course I have an email campaign for abandonned carts :)
Influencers are maybe 1000% better than just posting on pages that are niched. Even it's a lot harder to find the good one then you don't "lost" money like I just did.

Like I already said, the only information I had was that people viewing this content were from USA france and germany. people who are managing these accounts don't have a pro account so you can't see their insights.

....

I think average add to basket is 13% at the moment.

500 visits, 20 add to cart thats 4% and no sales.

You need to go back to your stats and do the following:

1. Find out how people viewed your page from that traffic.
2. See how long people spent on the page.

If its a decent amount of time you have issues on your site you need to look at, test and fix. It could be reassurance it could be spelling, hidden pricing what ever.

If you have funnel tracking set up and you should if your sending paid traffic, the 20 add to cart where was the drop off? Is it basket? If so is shipping displayed for the different locations i.e easy to calculate or is it later or?

If the traffic came from mobile is checking out easy?

For them numbers and 20 add to baskets unless its bot traffic you got with a trigger, id have expected a few sales!

No? My website is clear and profesionnal

It may be the case but your customers don't think so! I think you have an issue someplace on your site that needs attention. Sorry but running campaigns and sending paid traffic we all think our sites are brilliant but you have to take a step back and look at the data and see whats going on.

Well I should have been more clear....

I'm already making good profit with this store on Facebook; yes my website is optimized and easy to buy when you are on mobile and yes the shipping is free worldwide (people already know it from the ad).
Now, I looked how people react on my website with Hotjar and basicaly they add to cart an item instantly and don't go further. Why? I think it's because in my promotionnal video, the last frame is someone on my website clicking on "add to cart" button (to incitate them to do it when they come to my website)

About time spent, the average was 1 minute on the hompeage and 45 seconds on my best-seller product's page. not sure what that means.
BTW, I'm selling high prices product: my best-seller is 45$ and that also explains why people just don't throw their money like they would do with a free+shipping item

People are stupid more so when dealing with them as a retailer, don't assume anything.

Is it easy to buy on all mobile, is inputting details in the fields easy enough 20% of missed sales from a site on mobile is down to people not being able to input data, find the fields or how they are interacting with the fields too hard

To me that sounds like a bot. If someone is adding to the basket on a visit i.e page loads and product goes to basket you should be concerned that isn't normal shopping behaviour!

Don't think videos work like that if they did we would all buy a new car, insurance, toilet roll or what ever other advert we came into contact on the way to the store.

If your using Hotjar, have you got funnels set up? So you can see where people stop interacting with the purchase. You can even do this in analytics so you can check your basket flow and see where people are leaving. As your using Hotjar I would be looking where the drop is. If it's the basket. Compare other baskets / carts to yours look at making some adjustments and then split it either 50-50 A/B or A/B/C/D if you have the traffic numbers and then filter back down to an A/B until you have something you can track and register an improvement. Even if your site is doing well on Facebook it can always do better, and having access to Hotjar you should be trying to get every last 0.01% out of your traffic!

Well without knowing where people go from that point it's hard to say. Is your video or IG ad going direct to home or product? IF its to the home your wasting your money anyway more clicks the person has to do the less chance they have to buy!

45 seconds on the best product assuming its got decent images and some simple enough might be enough for someone to interact and move on but where to I can't say only you can see that. If it's targeted and traffic is going from ad direct to product I would say you might be ok with 45s but then you still got the problem of where the drop is later.

BTW, I'm selling high prices product: my best-seller is 45$ and that also explains why people just don't throw their money like they would do with a free+shipping item

That's OK I've worked with people selling $0.99 items to $24,000+ items although some things change the basics are all the same!

Not trying to beat you up or anything just trying to help if your site is doing well but it flopped on an advert. Either the person marketing it his traffic is poor to zero relevance, your sending people to the wrong page or you have something else going on that is no doubt effecting sales from the other location as well! Just my thoughts from the outside.
