Are trading threads allowed? I sure hope so. If not, any mods, please feel free to delete this. To be clear, I'm not selling anything. No signals, no system. This is just me and my journey with the charts. This will probably end up more like a journal than anything.

A little bit of background. I've started trading binary options in late may. I joined signal groups thinking they'd make me quick money. Instead, I lost over 15k. It was crazy. I went through emotional waves and depression. Definitely not fun. I also started trading myself during all of this and a lot of the time it ended up with me making back what I lost due to crappy signals from paid groups. I was a newbie so my mindset was that signal groups were still better than me trading on my own. A veteran trader on twitter told me to stop using signals and to try trading myself so I did exactly that since Oct. 1.

Since then, I've made 700,000 yen which would roughly be about 6800 dollars I guess? $3000 was made from an automatic system I bought just a few weeks back. Again, not selling this. In fact, I can't even use this anymore because I found out yesterday that the broker was banning accounts using auto-trading. Kinda pissed because it cost 4k :/ So now I'm completely on my own. That said, I still managed to make 4000 on my own in... 15 days now? You need enough money for this though. I started with 5000 in my account.

So, besides from quitting signal groups, I try super hard to focus on money management. I really really struggle with it. My goal is to withdraw money daily! Daily! This is so important. As of now, I've had one day in both weeks where I couldn't withdraw money due to losses. But other than those days, I've been making roughly around 200 ~ 300 daily. Some days 500 ~ 700. Depends on the market and the news on that day.

I'm not a professional. I'm still very new to all of this and everyday is a learning process. I've made... so many mistakes due to emotion and greed and being desperate. I like to think I kinda learned my lesson on emotional trading by now. lol. If anyone is, however, interested in trading, I don't mind sharing a few tips!

nice journey, would you mind sharing tips on how you get signals?

When trading in Binary option you MUST Patience, Discipline and focus, I also have lost a lot of money in binary option. Do you use martingale in your trading and can you share methods that you use to trading. I really interest with your journey.

I don't use signals. I draw support and resistance lines and look at price action. If I believe the lines I put down will be a good support and resistance, I'll take the trade. Please, don't be like my former self and use paid signals. You'll lose more money than make money.

I agree! If you don't have patience nor the ability to manage your money, it becomes gambling.
I used to use martingale and often that was the reason why I blew my account. Now, I'll chase a trade ONLY if it hits the next resistance line but I don't use the typical 2x martingale. I'll use the same amount of money as my first trade in hopes to just make up for the loss of the first one. If you lost your first trade, it means your analysis was wrong. Or, in some cases you traded when there was an news announcement. So I don't really believe in the martingale method much anymore. If you didn't win your first trade, go back and try to figure out why you lost it in the first place rather than risking the second trade with twice the bet price. Also check any news that will affect the market daily!

As for my method, I use support & resistance lines, bollinger bands, price action and a strong focus on the candle wicks. I make sure to check all time frames from 1m to 4 hours and will try to get a sense of what direction the market wants to go in/is trending before I make the trade.

The market was pretty okay today. In the day, it was going back and forth between winning and losing. I did better in the evening. I'm usually really horrible with trends as I trade reversals but managed to tackle the GBP pairs pretty well.

Total profit today + $766.22
This week's total + $1605.00

I am also wondering what did you use to start learning about this!

Thank you!

Anything from youtube videos to studying the signals that I was given by a paid service. As I don't recommend paid signals, I suggest picking up books on trading and just watching lots of videos on youtube. Search 'price action trading' first, then 'chart patterns' then 'how to draw resistance and support lines'. Do not trade with a live account if you're just getting into it!! This was my mistake as I rushed into it thinking I'd make big money from it. No. You will definitely not be making a decent profit from the get-go. That's not how it works.

I do say study but to be honest, I'm super lazy when it comes to studying. I know the basics (I should know more but again, this is my fifth month in.) but it's really looking at the charts for hours and hours that I finally start to see just a tad bit into how the market moves. It's a learning process and you need to be willing to put the hours in. What you can do from the start however, is avoid losing as much as I did. Again, put in hours by trading with a demo account. Make rules. Monitor your winrate.

thanks man for the tips! am gonna put $100 into this. what do you think?

Good luck bro do you know any platforms with low deposit

I wish i had the money to start trading. Eventially if i do have the money id love to start.

Have you traded before? If this is your first time, again, use a demo account for a month. Putting in a $100 with minimum knowledge on trading is the same thing as trying to drive a car for the very first time without any instructions. You'll crash. Study and practice on a demo account first.

Good luck bro do you know any platforms with low deposit

What broker do you use for binary options trading?

would like to know because of ESMA....

I use highlow.net. It's the only broker that's decent here in Japan.

Nice journey. I know that @mickyfu is a professional binary options trader and you can definitely learn a lot from him.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for him!

Weekly update.

This week was.... a rollercoaster. I had a bit of a mental breakdown yesterday from a really big loss. Made 2k in that day and lost it all from emotional trading. Should have stopped there but I didn't and greed kicked my butt big time because of it. Am completely drained. No appetite, lack of sleep... It's obvious I'm sacrificing my health for this. Emotional trading is a big fat no. Guess I still have a lot to learn.

I didn't post the daily profits this week because I felt like complete shit after that loss. I was able to make it all back today though and the total for this week is +$3.2k. It would have been 5.2k if I wasn't revenge trading.

So, I have now hit 10k in profit (from oct. 1st to today.) but 3k is from that stupid automated system I'm not able to use anymore :/ Hopefully next week I can make 3k and next month, 15k! Little by little, step by step, I'm hoping to improve as a trader and trying to adapt a healthier lifestyle while I do.

thanks man for the advice, i have not traded before but you motivate me alot to put my time into this.
you should take it easy on your health because health is wealth cheers!
