Watch time trick

Guys I was thinking of a quick trick to climb that 4000hrs watch time in order to get monetized. What if i upload a totally irrelevant video to my channel, like 6 hours long and 360p and let it play while being muted on other devices on my house using different VPNs? And then delete the video after a while. Will this work? Will the watch time be saved after i delete it? What do you think? Has someone done this before to share his experience?

being monetized won't suddenly make your channel popular. it's worth working on your YouTube optimization game and focus on keyword research and getting traffic to the kind of videos you actually want people to see.

maybe that blank video was the fault. im talking about sth like a documentary or a repeated video idk sth like that. and then delete it. dont keep it. will that work?

Your content must be 100% original, if you reupload a video,you will be denied for duplication
If you upload a gameplay with commentary, then yes , it will work
You must be the owner of the content
You can also pay someone to do a video for you if you are lazy (Find someone from a 3nd world country, he will do that for 1 or 2$)

I dont think you guys got my point. Im not saying uploading a blank 6hr video and monetize it to make money from it. I just opened my channel with Twitch compilations and im saying: in order for me to begin monetizing my vids i need 4000hrs of watch time( i currently have 10). So will my idea work to reach that 4000hr mark? If yes, then can i delete the video and continue the usual content upload and monetize those uploads(videos)?

It doesn’t count for videos muted on YouTube it doesn’t matter if the sound is muted on the device.

maybe it doesnt work enough, more better you monetize wll your page and make your own video no copy write so that it wll run good as well enough.

No you said something totally different, you said the sound will not be counted if the USER mute the video,
But in reality the view won't count if the video has no song
