Should I start eCommerce

Hello BHW, I have like $150 and I want to start dropshipping on shopify, but items which I want to sell cost $60-$80 should I start dropshipping or it's too low amount of money to start such a website?

Will shopify give me money directly when someone purchases something in my store or I should wait some time.

Yeah start. However it’s not as easy as open a store and get sales. It takes time to setup and drive traffic to your store.

It does cost money to run your store and maintain it. Some of the apps charge a fee, so it can end up costing you more than you had initially planned.

Yes shopify will pay you immediately upon sale. Just don’t expect it to happen overnight without any hard work put in.

No. You'll need like $1k to really have a chance of success. Probably loser to $2k.

$500 to make a decent shopify store (outsource, since I'm presuming you don't much about customiztion, apps, up-sells plugins, UX etc.) and another $500 for testing... and last $1k for scaling up.

Get a offline job and save up to the $2k you need.

Or you can try with $150 and hope for the best.

Im getting paid via PayPal most the time and it’s instant.

NRE made a good point also. If your going to be outsourcing your work, you will def need a larger budget.

Perhaps you don't already know it yet, but in the beginning, there's a big chance your funds will be put on hold by PayPal for the duration of let's say 14 days. With that in mind you need to have a spare amount of $$$ to order the customer's items out of your own pocket. I can give you a turbo shopify theme for free ( costs around $300), PM me.

Imo you need a solid budget especially if you are doing a high ticket item (which you should), a friend of mine started with 5k which he blew right away and after the second month he was seeing 800$+ steady income but he sold his business becaybe he couldn't support the store. He sold it for 17k so that's good on his part. He got jnto Kindle publishing after that.

it depends on what products you are selling and what problem you are solving, I can tell you that you CAN make a ton of money from youtube commenting - it is not the best but you will be able to make your first money to advertise, facebook is great for this, but remember that cost of advertising on fb will get more expensive because of q4, so start now to optimise your ads.
I would not recommend high authority website at this time of year... but if you do - do not rush things and do it safely, go for it.
as I already mentioned it depends on what products you are selling, sugar will not do great...
