Actually some Scammer use Teamviewer to Scam Innocent/Non-geeky Peoples.
There is Nothing wrong in Teamviewer Software.

Teamviewer is a great software for accessing your desktop remotely. There's nothing wrong with it (given that you downloaded the official version). No need to be scared lol.

Well just care about indians scammers on TeamViewer *sarcasm*

It’s very good, but it’s not secure - I’ve heard hackers can easily gain access, so I always lock my devices down in TeamViewer security to allow access from my account only.

If you are not on a tight budget, I think Log me in rescue will be your best bet.
I have used various RDP tools and I found this one a lot better than others. Never heard any negative feedback either.
Teamviewer is a decent tool but like @davids355 I have heard similar shady events causing huge personal and financial loss.
Also you'd be wise to not choose "freeware" RDP of anykind, no matter what they claim, they will sell you out.

Team viewer had a vulnerability which has been fixed in new version.don't worry you can buy Team viewer.Nobody can hack you if your system is update and in your system there is not any kind of vulnerability. If you using Pirated version of windows OS then you are already hacked & nobody can save you.

team viewer is a nice and best pc sharing software no doubt but sometimes some stupid person does scam. but software 100% fresh.

Agree, LogMeIn is also very good. In my opinion it is better for managing a large number of devices. But it does have a few bugs as well, more related to usability, but nothing major.

It has good security and it sends email notifications on suspicious login attempts and I think it blocks very suspicious logins and possibly now supports mfa as well, although I’m not certain about that.
