Hello guys,

university is about to start next week and I looked at my schedule and I realized that I probably won't be able to work while being at university because I have classes every day.

But I still want to make some money and start a online business!

So my question is if dropshipping is still profitable especially in Germany.
Does anybody have any experience in dropshipping in germany?
I found some articles that said that in germany its not that profitable because there are alot of fees and laws you have to consider.

I hope somebody can help me

DANKE

everything's profitable if done right
yes I realize that I put that wrong. Its more "is dropshipping worth (especially in germany)" if you have all that legal stuff to do BEFORE you can even start

My best advice: Start making money, deal with the legal stuff later. It's not worth the headaches before making any sales.

I know. I just don't want to get sued into the ground just right after I make my first profit

Do you think there's no bigger fish than you ? If you're not comfortable, you can set up a "freelance" status, not sure about the equivalence in Germany. It's really quick and you normally have a simplified accountability. You also probably have aids to start up.

I hope the MODs won't delete this comment since it's in a different language, but;

Biggest problem i faced in dropshipping is delivery time, So i suggest you to calculate the delivery time from your supplier to reach your customer, If it's quick and reliable then dropshipping is worth in my opinion.

Or you just mention the correct delivery time

well delivery time is a important factor here. But i found some german/european partners which you can use for dropshipping and get quick delivery time.

but all of these suppliers require that i have a official company or so

You won't get sued unless you make a lot of money... but first try to get there :)

Unfortunately that's not true for Germany. At all.

Well yes, in germany you can get sued very quickly for these things. They are very strict and consumers have a lot of rights and possibilities to sue you

everything is profitable. it's just about execution. if you do a crappy job and don't take it seriously, expect crappy results. if you work hard and actually invest time and money, then you will be rewarded

Just google abmahnung, this was the only thing for me to forget about germany.

Also, a german customer prefer shopping on a .de domain, and make sure add sofort as a payment method.

Goodluck!

Yeah it is still alive and well just have to be creative

In my opinion it's a loteasier and more profitable to market only to the U.S in the beginning. And trackable ePacket shipping from China doesn't take 4 weeks..
