I was invited to the Amazon Influencer Program, but there's no much info on Amazon nor anywhere else about how it differs from the Amazon associates program.

Any else been invited or have any idea on the comission rates?

I'll get a verified profile as part of this program.

"Q: Are there any privileges that come with being verified?
A: In addition to the verified badge and link to your storefront, all influencers are eligible to participate in all of the Amazon social experiences, to include writing a review and publishing to Spark. Be on the lookout for new benefits in the coming months. "

Never heard about it, but sounds interesting. Is it like a VIP Associates program? Or is it for sellers? In the QA it seems like its for sellers, but from your text i assume its Associates.. Confusing :)

As far as I know that you can post amazon affiliate links directly in your IG account or other social media account.

I've been with the Influencer program for a few months.

There is no additional benefits but you will get a special storefront I.D which you can promote directly to your social followers. You will be able to use twitter, instagram, facebook and youtube for direct promotion with your special I.D.

When you get accepted into the program you can promote thousands of products (which should be in your store) without worrying of getting banned.

is there any benefits for big Amazon sellers like me to partner with influencers?

If influencers write reviews on my listings are there any special badges?

I was curious how Amazon decides

I was curious how Amazon decides who is an "influencer?" A total amount of followers/subscribers? Any preference as to which platform they prefer (IG, Insta, etc.)? Also curious to know what kind of numbers you had (have) to get the Amazon program. THANK YOU

Yes unless I'm missing something what's to stop anyone from adding links to their shopping carts from the description in the IG posts (including Amazon affiliate links)? Don't need an "influencer" account to do that do you?

Not sure what's funny. This is exactly what it means.
I know what an influencer means but I wonder if the social media will let you direct post your aff. Link..this is why I found it funny. Maybe Zuckerberg for example ..will make an exception for you :)..never mind..maybe I am wrong..sorry for that

Depends on the site but yeah Facebook, for example, allows affiliate links. Most of the big ones do.

I have heard of this on another forum.
From what I understand it is a really great honor to be selected to join.
Go for it!
Boost your sales.
I am considering getting into the affiliate program as so many people are successfully making money from it.

It’s against amazon TOS to post links on social media without being in the influencer account.

It's been a while since I've looked as this was a super old thread necro but I don't think this is the case. Their influencer setup is a portal for influencers but you don't need it. I spoke to Amazon reps who were aware I was running traffic directly from social media and didn't have an issue with it.
