I didn't mean only Rihanna and David Beckham by celebrities. Sportsmen are also famous people, but on the smaller circle.

You need to get Mentioned in at least 5 Newspaper Post (online also possbile) then provide your ID and thats it. Contact instagram they will do the remaining stuff for you

he didnt say something about really famous people. Playing in the NFL are famous. But the most important part here is that they give out mostly all blue ticks to people who might be faked for several reasons. This said, they give blue ticks to people who are "famous" enough to be faked. This way people who search for the specific person/business know that its the real one and not some imposter
