Read This Before You Pick A Username

I don't know if you're asking your question in reverse or not. But yes, I don't have the time to go about creating posts to make people not believe my BHW moniker is my real name. No time for that, long as am not into nefarious activities.. I just don't want trolls or anything like blackmailers
If you didn't want everyone to know that your username is your real name, then why did you voluntarily share that information on this publicly visible thread? If you simply remained silent, everyone would have continued thinking that your name is just an anonymous handle.

Avoid Using Your Real Name
Too many people sign up using their real names and then, not long after, ask us to change their usernames to something else.

Be aware that if you use your real name as your username, anything you post will obviously be easily traced back...

Thanks @Zwielicht only 7 and a half years late.

@X

Tag system worked fine for me.

Hmm it doesn't show a suggestion to select a user when I type @X , and I didn't receive a notification that you tagged me, just that there was a new post in the thread.

Either way, was just trying to give a tip that short usernames aren't as friendly for tagging in general, at least in my experience lol

@X that is interesting... I can tag you without a "tagged" notification?

I like mine, but no one can tag me without jumping through hoops, so go for a 3+ character username (I think that's the minimum limit for a tag to work?) if you want other users to be able to tag you easily

Did you just recently change your username? I remember seeing your aviator but with a different username.

I did, I'd had the old one since high school and decided it was time for an upgrade after 10 years lol.

But thats the beauty of JR VIP and why everyone should upgrade, so you can change your username once per year if you decide down the road you don't like your choice.

I wonder how you able to use a one letter username? :confused: I tried two letter "CD" when I signup but it says minimum of 3 characters.

I never regret choosing my username here :) thanks OP for such a valuable info
