The majority of us here most likely grow different niche accounts as far as IG goes, but what about personal accounts. I think most of you would agree that it is different to growing an account that's specifically created for a certain niche, EVEN if your own personal account is also (mostly) in a specific niche, like photography for example.

What are some advanced tips to grow personal accounts w/o massive F/UF botting?

Leveraging related influencers.
Using a network of niche related accounts.

Alternatively

Great content and powerlikes.

This is what I do for a living xD

I assume you make money back by shoutouts or affiliate marketing?

For my personal account nothing yet, but I intend to monetize through online products soon.

I do this mainly for up and coming influencers who need a personal brand, such as singers/actors/models/entrepreneurs/fitness influencers etc
They normally have monetization in place or are planning to in the near future

Just focus on engagement. Powerlikes only work for 'viral'content with accounts that are already positioned to hit the explore page. 'Regular' great content wont go anywhere.

IG rewards engagement as its #1 source of ascertaining the value of an account/post.

This is how all the famous algorithms work. Just look at Jake Paul. He posted a video of a freaking dead body and still did well because he has so much engagement the algorithm overlooked everything else. The companies are always quiet because they know the public will freak-out if they knew how much they let the algorithm run things.
