Your BHW username and password the same as of midday Wednesday 10th June.
If you have 2fa enabled email confirmations won't work as we've turned off email for obvious reasons. Your 2fa app or backup codes will still work.

Suggested testing
We don't have a public list of the updates currently available as this shifts testing away from business as usual testing. We will be releasing features throughout the rest of 2020.
If you're stuck for what to test first consider some of these ideas (please note this is a full database dump of the site as of Friday - we will ensure all your data is transferred when we go live.):
Please post your comments, suggestions and future feature requests in this thread the Dev environment will be removed and rebuilt with new data periodically.

Exciting times - we have a hard date for the upgrade. We'll be live by 1st July 2020. !!!
We'll have a final beta before that for everyone to play with. Just sorting out some of those final bits and pieces that work - then stop for no reason, you know the sort.

General security updates patches and the like - bringing us in line for the move.
For clarity, there is little change to your BHW experience from the outset of this move. It simply provides a better platform for us to deliver what you've been asking for in a faster and more efficient way.
If you have found any issues now or in the future that limits your enjoyment on the forum then please raise a support ticket.

8:32am BST - We're back - thanks for keeping with us.
There are no core functionality changes with this hardware upgrade - you may notice it's little faster. The search index is currently being rebuilt and will be restored in the next couple of hours.
8am BST - The first of the scheduled downtimes will be happening today. in the next couple of hours. This is backend only and is part of the hardware move for BHW 2.0 - no other changes will be made today.

Sorry to have been silent on this over the last few months - we took a few wrong turns, but now we're back on track. For those of you new or recently returned to BHW, we've been working on updating our platform for the last 18 months. It's been a long journey, but we're finally heading towards the end.

As many of you may know, our heart is Xenforo with many many customisations. The underlying code for this release is totally different which has meant a total re-write of all our stack. While also trying to revamp our marketplace at the same time ref. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/bhw-marketplace-2-0-thoughts.1106901 . We decided this wasn't the best path to take so midway through Q4 2019 we took a different direction. We will now release BHW 2.0 with a like for like marketplace, ensure it's stable and then move to upgrade the marketplace and other areas of BHW based on the new platform.
I'll provide updates covering what's new in the BHW 2.0 platform over the next few weeks, but first, we need to upgrade the hardware.
For the week commencing 20th April 2020 we will have 2 periods of downtime lasting 30-45 mins each. - Check that you're able to log in on a device that you currently use. The dev site is totally separate so you won't have any issue with cookies etc.
- Check that whatever you do most days you can do on the new forum -
- Upload images.
- Comment on others threads.
- Start your own thread.
- Build a marketplace thread.
- Check your conversations are there.

Items we're aware of and working on:
- Hardware - these aren't production servers so it's slower than the live configuration will be. - but it's still very usable.
- Email isn't enabled for obvious reasons. If you use 2FA via email use a back-up code or drop me a pm here and we'll get you on.
Unable to log in with iPad under some configurations.- unable to recreate in the lab. Please post your config (browser and hardware type) and IP you're using so we can track it.Orphan conversation messages from 2016 onwards will appear as blank messages from 1970.- fixed.Left-hand menu needs to highlight the currently viewed forum.- Added in - it's a little more subtle than the current one.- Template reviews.
Auto Centre signature.- if you have a graphic you now have to manually centre your signature using the edit tools - (if you want it centred) - 2.0 supports true BB code in Signatures so it will do exactly what you ask it to.Add a space between the signature and the post it relates to.Done - extra 20 pixels added to the buffer.White theme - yellow text (an oldie but a fair point.)- this has been fixed where the screenshots provided displayed items we'd missed. If more are found (yellow text on white background) please screenshot and post in this thread with an accompanying URL.The Glow around the pop-up love / hate?- we've made it a little less golden - let us know what you think.Quoted content - place on a faded background so the quoted content is clearly defined.- along with the indent and the yellow bar, quoted content now displays in a way more consistent with the current format.The gap between the content and the signature space is too close.- we've added extra spacing to increase the gap.- Some older posts are unresponsive on mobile e.g. https://www.testbhw.com/seo/method-buying-from-the-bhw-marketplace.984502/#post-10533451 and https://www.testbhw.com/account/partnerships
