Google console errors - HELP!

Sorry guys .....but im a newb and i cant figure out why im getting these errors on search consolre and i dont want anything to negatively affect my rankings.....any suggestions?? see below

these are the urls for the ones "blocked by robot.txt"

mydomain.com/no-sidebar-content-centered/
mydomain.com/home/
mydomain.com/right-sidebar/
mydomain.com/no-sidebar-full-width/
mydomain.com/category/category 1 (it lists one of my categories here...i prob have 8-9 categories in total )
mydomain.com/about/ <-- is this because I do not have an "about" page yet?
mydomain.com/sample-page/

ARE THESE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT? I JUST DONT WANT TO NEGATIVELY AFFECT MY SITES ARTICLES RANKINGS

And then theres the other errors that are listed as "URLS marked as 'no index' "

I posted 7-8 articles and when i first saw these errors I went back and reconfigured yoast and I had the first setting marked as "Site is under construction, do not crawl yet" .... i forgot that i originally selected that , so the 7-8 articles are marked no index.......how can i fix this now?


Sorry, I dont know much about google search console and errors......this is my first blog after starting the whole IM thing again.

(I joined BHW like8 yrs back and set up some easy autblogs with wp robot, auto post to twitter etc....adsense income back then, ive never used google search console so im really stumped by whats happening with these errors

It seems you're using wordpress.
On your pc open your editor, copy and paste these rules:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Save it with this name: robots.txt
Then via ftp upload the file to root dir ( / )

Check your robots.txt file with search conosole (option available in the left column).
Finish

I also am using the theme ColorMAg , and since I am a newb i downloaded demo content to see what the site looks like with some content to make it easier for me to edit one 'category' at a time for my homepage layout.


Now those URLS (from the demo data) are showing in google search console as "indexed. but blocked by robots.txt"

Any idea how to fix this?

Read my previous message.
Create a REAL robots.txt file and upload it.
You're using a virtual (autogenerated by wp / plugins / themes) robots.txt

I dont even knwo that FTP is......but i created arobot.txt file in yoast using your code
