I made $65 Today

Hello everybody,

Today was a good day. For the past month I've been advertising my new website trying to get sales. I've tried Free + shipping and other methods.

I've always gotten good link clicks and engagement, but barely any sales. I usually break even or lose money. But I was pretty confident in my targeting.

Today, I made the smallest adjustment to my ad. I actually changed the product to an almost identical product. They were both on aliexpress, but the new product looked a little more authentic and actually was about 20 cents cheaper!

I updated my website and ad with this new product and suddenly I got several sales at $1/purchase for ads. I made about $71 and spent $6 on ads.

Hopefully the sales keep coming and this wasn't some random surge.

Basically the moral of the story is, the smallest refinements to your campaigns or products can really make a difference. Just keep tweaking and every improvement no matter how small will get you to the $$$

I tried a couple different products, but no success. At the moment, I'm just running the one while I figure out how to scale.

I attempted a "like, share, comment" giveaway on a different product and got incredible engagement and traffic, but little sales. So I'm definitely experimenting still. This was the first time I made some real profit, and I'm just shocked by the effects of such minor adjustments

Also, if this helps anyone reading this. I tried changing the shipping on the Free + shipping items multiple times from $9.9 to $5.95 to $7.95 and it made no difference. My old product/ad even at $5.95 never got as many sales in a day as I did today, despite today the shipping being at $9.95

I think if people want to buy your product they will buy it at least to an extent.

I use both, I'd say most go through paypal, but I get a good amount through cc

Yeah, I never figured out getting a cc gateaway thats why I'm asking, but if it's mostly paypal that's good enough.

I think the cc wasn't too difficult. I just used the shopify proccessor I think haha
though they take a % if I'm not wrong

Yeah, some countries including mine doesn't supper shopify proccessor..

Little update:

I think I found my second winning product! Been running an ad at $5 a day for 4 days and it has made 3 sales profiting about $27 or so each.

Going to increase the budget and hope for the best!

Also, looking at my stats I’ve made a net profit of $250 the last 7 days. I haven’t really been thinking about the total profit as I am so preoccupied with the day to day optimization and whatnot.

Thinking about starting a journey soon. Never thought I could make some real profit this quickly. I launched my store sometime end of August.
