Plus, would it have been so hard as to namecheck BHW instead of saying 'Of course, it was widely discussed on forums. This is one of the comments:' sheesh.
To recap:
- KD is now based on Moz and Majestic metrics.
- The old calculation could indicate harder difficulty when compared to the reality.
- KD now estimates how difficult it is to rank in the 1st SERP more precisely.
- LPS is more sensitive as it estimates how difficult it is to rank on that particular position.
- KD is no longer the average of LPS values on the 1st SERP because it’s more focused on the fact that low-authority websites can outrank high-authority ones.
- All previously calculated (cached) KD values now have lower opacity (are washed out) and the exact date when it was last updated in a tooltip.
