How Aged do Accounts have to be?

How aged do Accounts have to be to start seeing traffic "Pins Getting Visible to people"?

My accounts are 3 weeks old and still not seeing traffic nor am i see my pins on the search bar

i dont do follow/unfollow as ive never found after the big update it does anything at all. Except ban accounts faster.

I have a bunch of Pinterest accounts of different ages, some of them are like 6-7 years old. I can tell you that old accounts don't automatically get more traffic. It's all about the quality of your account (what you're pinning, engagement rate etc). My newest account started generated traffic the first week we started pinning.

Now I'd like to throw the question back to you. How did you know that aged account gets more traffic? Did you test it or is it just a theory?

Yup, I have a friend who have 4 aged accounts (about 3 years old) with more than 10k followers each and he is just pinning (not repinning) his content in his own boards (not group boards) and gets a lot of traffic, which is rare these days on Pinterest. I've managed to boost few accounts with 3-5k followers but the accounts are 3 months old and I can't make the same result, not even close.

Yeah, I get what you are saying. It could be like that.
But probably it's not important (the age of the account).
I have old accounts and they are in some cases doing the same as the new ones. Most probably it's the website he's promoting key factor.
It probably has a great 'trust score' with Pinterest and their algo will put his pins 'out there' more often.
Especially if he only has a simple blog.

But, again, that's just my assumption. Pinterest is a complete mess these days.

Nope, he has more than 10 domains and pins random content everyday.
