Do action blocks hurt my account?

Everytime I get an action block I find it stressful. I imagine it hurts my accounts standing with instagram each time one gets hit. Is this true or does getting an action block every now and again not really matter?

Interested on this too. One of my main accounts got hit with a comment block and I was convinced it would never be lifted. A week later and it's been lifted but I'm proceeding with caution!

I get follow blocks all the time but then I can follow again after about an hour, but I don't know how it affects my acc, what do you mean hurt my acc, like shadow ban, shows ur post to less followers or sth else?

I have an account that I let action block all the time because I didn't understand what they did. Now I have a 10k account that gets 100 likes per post.

IG do it many a times but I think Pinterest is a better option. Why go with IG only when Pinterest is here as well?

Seems like comment blocks last longer. Trouble with using automation is it isn't flagging when these action notifications are displaying, which would then flag the account BIG time as the action is still being attempted 100's of times a day.

Both comment blocks and regular action blocks from follow / unfollows / like only last 45 minutes to 2 hours at best, in my experience. And from what I can see havent done anything to hurt any of my accounts. Their engagement, and typical follow back ratios seem to stay in roughly the same parameters. I haven't seen any drastic change in any of my accounts since their first blocks, and some have been active for a couple years. So to answer your question, no I don't believe action blocks hurt your account, BUT, that's not to say that the actions you're doing on your account aren't hurting it, but as far as the action block specially.. I don't see it being an issue, if anything just slows you down a bit.

What do you mean by its not flagging the actions during automation? Your bot should recognize any of these blocks, and stop doing that action for the amount of time you set so that it doesn't keep repeating the action. If it's not, then I would suggest changing your bot.

I've had a comment block in place for almost a week on one of my accounts. I guess its algo according to IG was weaker compared to a stronger more aged account.

A week? That's nuts. I don't comment thru automation as it appears to spammy, but while testing out a method manually I was receiving comment blocks, but they only lasted usually 90 mins to 120. Is your bot pausing the action after receiving the block, or just sitting there still trying to do it as you stated earlier? If that's the case, that may be the reason your block lasted so long.

Depending on the kind of action block and the frequency at which you get hit with action blocks matters. If its once in a while it won't hurt.

Hey dude, I've seen you say this in multiple threads, and I just think your opinion is off. Bad proxies can flag an account and lead to nonstop action blocks until you change the proxy. Your 45 minute to 2 hour assumption is just not accurate in some cases. I know this from personal experience.

I feel your pain, knowing that it's just continually trying the same thing back to back, despite receiving the block is kind of just like putting "hey I'm a bot" in your bio. This. I programmed my bot to stop when it receive a block (I noticed most of the time it happens with likes), then it will try again after some time. I think if it keeps sending requests it will be a huge red flag for Instagram.

Keyword, in some cases. I'm speaking from my own experiences. I can't speak for next person.. only what I experience. The proxies I use it rarely get action blocks, and if I do.. thats the amount of time they last for. What, do you want me to just state opinions of others, or what I've experienced myself?

No, of course you must speak from your own experience. Just want it out there that action blocks can also be due to bad proxy and no amount of waiting will help in that event

I've seen when I was using DC, ipv6 proxies that I did experience action blocks some times right off the top, like on my first like.. so yes, it would of been the proxy causing it.. but as long as I seized doing said action after I received the block, that it would normally go away within 2 hour window.. not permanently, eventually it would return.. but that's expected. What's your normal time frame that your blocks last for?

All in all, it boils down to the proxies you use.. if one is on a budget, I think it's better to run a small amount of quality accounts, on high quality proxies.. then to try and run hundreds accounts on trash proxies, unless you're well versed in using those types of proxies. I still do keep a 1/3 of my accounts on DC ipv6 proxies, but they're running unique to the accounts on mobile proxies.
