Google penalised us - any experience on recovering?

Good to hear that you are indexed again.. how many domains did you use for redirection?...recently I bought one domain for redirection...

Thank you!

I've been on SEO for just 5 months and i've got PLENTY to learn. Very excited on this new professional path though.

Good luck to your learning journey! Been an SEO professional for almost 10 years now, but still learning doesn't stop as SEO continue to evolve over time. Cheers!

he bought 22 ¬¬'

thank you all!

Just back-link disavow is enough to recover from penalty? I dont think so.
All depends for what you got the penalty. In this case - it was because of the unnatural link building, so you need to remove those links and thats it. If it was for content - then you need to remove the duplicate/spam content and no need to even touch your links.. If is because you website is "dangerous" you need to remove the thing that annoy Google and so on..

the website is done sorry.

first thing tell your boss he a arsehole next time mind his own business and do what the pro no .

also pay you the £80/ph we charge for seo staff .

best do a 301 redirect mate to a new domain the grate boss "" who new it all fucked it , so tell him dont cry as he might need a new domain.

Mate the penalty is already lifted - the OP informed us few posts ago.

Exactly! our penalty was because of unnatural links. So, we took off all the 301, and sent the Reconsideration Request with a Google Spread Sheets indicating which were the fake domains, the date of purchase and the date of taking them down.
This last item was kind of important, as I read in many places that G needs as much information from you as possible and some sort of confirmation that you're never going to do this again (yes miss, I'm sorry miss) So, you can write a message and attach a google document (so they can trust it's not some kind of malware) and that's all you can do. Oh, and wait, ofc.

It's kinda weird because this morning we had everything re indexed. But now we don't have the Manual Action message in GSC anymore and yet nothing is indexed. So.... let's have patience, there's a sunny weekend around the corner to make the waiting nicer.

I have a couple of questions for you if you have time to answer? What the domain age of your money site? You sure about your redirected domain is the perfect one with SEO Stats, Because from my experience just redirection doesn't deindex you at once, all the things depend on the quality of domain and Redirected domain niche

Long back, i face same situation. I did not go through reconsideration request or disavow tool etc. I just removed those and it recovered after 3-4 weeks
