I have searched around looking for where to post this so i decided to post it here.

I need an urgent help. My wedding is coming up next week Friday. There is quite a lot to be done. So I registered with GoFundMe in order to get a fund raiser from people.

Can anyone tell me where to get immediate people who will donate willingly.

Thank you

Ok, this topic is first of a kind. I've never come across such a post in 3 years of my IM life.
Wish I could help ya. Good luck OP!

Aaaaand Wish you all the best for the big day :)

Quite the interesting topic indeed... I would advise not to ask for donations for something like this. Instead, why don't you look at how much money you DO have, and figure out how to use that to do whatever you need to get done.

You don't need a lot of money to have a good time with your friends and family. Hell, the best times are usually free. Definitely not the time or place to ask for handouts.

It is okay. I was hoping to raise $1000. Can someone point me in the right direction to post my fund raising link?

On your social media profiles.. among your actual, true to life friends. Thats usually where I see those types of things posted. They're more likely to donate, than random forum members.

Question though, why would you wait till a week before your wedding to ask for donations? Usually people will slip you some cash in an envelope during or after your wedding. Probably would of made more sense to of planned your wedding according to your budget, or to have held off until you had your desired amount before setting a date.

And after the wedding, the kids will come ( at least, this will be nice ). What then? Another fundraising campaing? Only the diapers costs a lot of money in our days. My advice: Do not hurry! If there is something strong between you and your gf, then you will marry her anyway. This is a serious life step.. Good luck!

God Damn OP did you just realise that you will get married like 3 days ago?
Usually people arrange a date to marry at least after 6 months or so.
Did you lose money on bets? Are you a gambler?
Because in my years online this is the weirdest post and I have seen some weird sh*t online

I can understand when you want to raise funds for example for a sick child that needs medical surgery in order to survive but its very expensive.

But for a wedding? If you can't pay a wedding then don't go marry.

Its just begging for money.

However you put. I don't see it that way. Thanks for your help so far

Where are you from?
In Europe you can request an instant loan up to 25K if you're not writing negative numbers at your bank for such events, but you'll have to pay it back.

I don't want to loan. That is why I resorted to a fund me project

Go to the courthouse, get married there for about 40.00, then go to St Augustine for the weekend.

That is what I did for my last marriage and it worked out perfectly.
