1. OP, you didn't mention proxies at all.
So you create all these properties (including google sites) using the same ip as your brand??

2. The Bradley Benner IFTTT course is not that good. It was all detailed and nitty-gritty and there was virtually no "overview" (despite the Overview folder). I'm still unclear what the big picture here is. He dives into each individual step without going into why or how it relates to the big picture.

3. As I understand it, you cannot use IFTTT to rank a dozen already-posted videos. This is for future videos and blog posts, right? Hence, "if this is posted, then the other sites will post the same thing."

1. I mentioned i am using HMA.

2. He released version 2, I can't find it in my database, if possible will find and share.

3. Nope, it works even for already posted videos. All that matters is setup.

hi stoben, i could not understand what you mean by legitimate business. So far, if you search in fb Local seo groups, most of the business using ifttt for map pack ranking.

The course takes you through creating proxies and fake profiles. That seems a little blackhat...is there any reason you can't create profiles with legitimate business info or personal info and not use proxies?

ok that course is mainly for agencies. If you creating for own business, no need for proxies.

Apparently a lot has changed since this program was created 3 or 4 years ago.

Delicious is totally changed and doesn't work.
Diigo doesn't work.
Evernote doesn't work (can't make it public).

And I'm only halfway through the list.

Just finished doing my 2nd branded persona. Was having an issue with proxy and internet. I will still continue with the method, but I'l do manual postings instead of syndicating it with IFTTT.

Let's keep this thread alive and share results.

I know that the whole point with this thread is about content syndication with IFTTT.

I'm just taking the advise provided by one of the pro's here.

I'm more interested with how the properties are being made as a "branded" persona. I'll use the branded rings to link to a youtube and 1 money site. These rings will serve as tier 1. I'll power up these rings with other sources as well.
