You're not doing terrible, you're actually doing it the smart way.. starting off with a small amount of accounts and focusing on quality instead of quantity. It's better this way, since you're not trying to start off with 50 accounts.. 100 accounts.. or nothing, you're allowing yourself to learn the ropes of IG automation without being overwhelmed because of the vast amount of accounts.
You know how many "Journey: IG + CPA - $100/day" threads have been opened and abandoned? Hundreds.. and the number increases each week. Alot of people try and jump in, thinking they're going to be a boss, running 1000s of accounts.. invest all the money in their small budget on accounts, proxies, software, hosting and a week or two in realize it's not as simple as some may think it is, especially with no prior experience.
One can always read a bunch of journeys and other threads pertaining to IG automation, but until you dig in there yourself, there's still alot more to learn that you won't read about in the threads. There are little things, but those little things add up.. and when doing it on a large scale can become very frustrating and eventually end up being overwhelming. Most of the IG automation threads get abandoned after 2 - 3 weeks, and usually the culprit is people attemping to do too much.
When I started with IG, I began with 25 accounts.. and I regretted it because it definitely was overwhelming. I didn't really know much about IG, let aline automating it. This was almost 5 years ago.. so the boat loads of information that's available now, wasn't available. So there was alot of trial and error. I honestly wished I started with maybe 5 or 10. Almost 5 years later you would think, well if he's still doing it he would have 1000s of accounts by now. Not even, I'm in the 650+ range riding comfortably.. just slowly increasing here and there. I've put alot of my effort into making quality accounts, that get good engagement and aren't trying to scrape $1 day per account. I rather have less accounts that have a higher average per week than accounts that are maxing out at $1 or 2 a day.
Just figured this would give you some motivation to keep trucking, and know things will come together in the long run if you keep at it. Persistence pays off. Beat the odds, don't let this become another abandoned IG journey in the BHW graveyard. Good luck bro.
