Why do meme accounts use multiple pics in one post?

Has anyone seen that many meme accounts will publish 10 pics in one post?
Is there a reason for that? Does the amount of time people spend on a post increase its engagement?

People are more likely to click to see the full pic or pics so yeah it increases engagement

I mostly think it's because it gives more chances for someone to laugh and share 1/10 of the memes instead of just the 1/1 chance you normally get with 1 photo post.

I do see most of them have something that says similar -- Thanks!

Makes sense, I wonder if using this method on other niches would work too, like photography – I don't think I've seen this in on other niches.

it works for other niches, you just need to twist it.

Same stuff happens when people post sneak content pictures leading to videos and videos leading to videos it captivates attention! Good post! Greetings
