cheap hosting with free ssl?

I want to host a small site (3 pages with simple html). I already bought the domain but I want a good cheap shared hosting ( that I can pay every month and not yearly).

I want to make a few SEO tests on it so there won't be any visitors for a few months.

So simple html (all minified)

Can you suggest me some good ones? (2-3$/month)

As for Hosting, try Hyonix VPS. They have a marketplace thread here (costs me around $4.80 per month with recurring coupon, ask for the coupon in seller's thread). I do not think you will be able to apply SSL to a shared hosting server.
As for the SSL, it is free anyway. Try letsencrypt.org's SSL service. They support all browsers..

Your budget is good for small site. Now most of the companies is offering Lets Encrypt and cPanel auto ssl with shared hosting.

You can get free cloudflare SSL for any host.

Just set your site up normally, then make account at cloudflare and move your DNS there.

Go with Vultr and it supports for paying monthly. There is a pricing plan with $3.5/mon available. Install the SSL certificate issued by Lets encrypt which is free of charge.

Digital Ocean. With a 5$ droplet you can host lots of simple sites like you want. And let's encrypt is free...

Use nginx as your reverse proxy, make the key generation auto (lets encrypt is valid for 3 months only). Put this in a Dockerfile and you are ready...
