I see that you have a section for Authors who want to promote their books. Do you have something similar for promoting online training courses?

Like you mention, we are able to help authors improve their rankings in Amazon; if your course was being sold on Amazon it'd work in a very similar fashion. If it is something that's sold elsewhere, then what happens is you'd want to be getting traffic to the course via one of the other channels we support (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc) -- I can say that most influencers are going to decline offers of a free course as compensation, but would accept $ to promote the course; it's a function of physical products having more value with most influencers.

How are you improving the rank on Amazon? Simply driving traffic? I would love if you could pm me and let me know more :)

It's posted earlier in the thread, but the quick answer is we have several thousand Amazon product reviewers among our base of influencers; Amazon cares about volume of sales, reviews, and how deep your product write-up is. We can help with reviews, and the way we go about it requires sales to do those reviews, so two variables accounted for.

I've also written a couple years ago on some thoughts: https://intellifluence.com/blog/amazon-no-more-incentivized-reviews

I am a little perplexed by the adding of funds system/methodology.

So right now before sending a pitch to the influencers, I have to make sure that I have sufficient funds in the system?

Meaning that if I am pitching to 20 influencers, usually 10 will reply and 5 will be agreeable. Instead of just paying for the 5 influencer's fees, now I have to make sure that my account is fully funded with 20 influencer's fees before I can pitch.

Worse part? A confusing refund policy. https://learn.intellifluence.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006487494-Can-I-get-a-refund-on-a-payment-

I understand the rationale of having funds within Intellifluence, so that it protects the influencers. But shouldn't it done via upwork's method? As an example, having a credit card that is authorized for funds disbursement.

Do you have a trial period? I'm interested in the annual plan but afraid to waste hundreds of dollars if the ROI does not exist.
Sounds promising though. Thanks!

1. If you pitch 20 influencers, if you're using Payments, what happens is yes you have to show proof of funds. If some don't reply the pitch can be archived, freeing up the funds -- rolling out something shortly to do this automatically in the event you want to set a pitch expiration. When an influencer declines, those funds are also freed up immediately. The proof of funds is there to protect the influencer, but that you are not actually out any of that money until after you approve the review is in place to protect you.
2. I can clear up the refund policy. If you deposited say $1,000 and nothing came of it (meaning none of that money is currently allocated to transactions that are accepted by an influencer), you're going to get it back -- if we incur a fee in taking and refunding the money, we pass along that fee...nothing more, and in the single case where we were asked to provide a refund we weren't assessed a refund fee so that brand got 98% of it after 2 months of being idle. We haven't done any incentives yet to get people using Payments, but an idea we had was to do a deal where for ever $XXXX funded, the brand would get promotional $XX - those credits would not be refundable as they are digital currency. I understand how it might be a bit confusing; we simply covered our butts to prevent people from dumping cash in and pulling it out in an attempt to hurt us, or from manipulating how an incentive program might work in the future. We have so far and will continue to run a clean network and take care of everyone in it; if you put in cash and something doesn't work out, we're going to work with you and be fair.
3. Upwork is basically charging 20%; we're charging 10%...which accounts for both sides of the transaction -- I don't dislike the Upwork model, but we're going to be long term a lot less expensive. They are designed for one-off work, vs working with those 20 theoretical influencers. The model we're actually closer to is early ebay w/ payment integration to protect both parties.

We have monthly plans. If you use 'UNGAGGED' in the coupon field, it'll take 75% off your first bill, and our Starter plan is only $99/mo. For as much as we do and as big our internal influencer network actually is, it's not really comparable anymore. The closest competitor we had was Tapinfluence and their folding into Izea doesn't appear to be working out too well.

Review copies have been gone for over a year; we're the #2 warm influencer network by size and may be the largest by year end. Since the Ungagged conference is coming up again in a couple months, I toggled on the coupon code: UNGAGGED which will take 75% off your first bill.

I see in the pricing section of the website, $99. But in thread, it says $9. Am I missing something?

The old pricing did start at $9/mo and we still have many legacy accounts at that tier, but have since eliminated it. Every time we release a new batch of features and growth metrics, we increase pricing (but we always grandfather plans, so the pricing someone signs up with is preserved for them personally).

is there a trial?

Check your PM.

Is there any chance of getting a Grandfathered account now ($9 ones)? Something like pre-BlackFriday Offer :)

I am talking with Diamond Damien about doing a different kind of special deal for BHW members, but I think that'll more than likely occur next year. The $9/mo plan was far more limited than the current plans -- the $99/mo plan using a coupon code like 'UNGAGGED' is a much better way to test us as it'll get you all the features with a 1 month 75% off discount.
