CHANGES TO INSTAGRAM STARTING SEPT 17

Just giving everyone a heads up on the Instagram changes starting from September 17.
Let me know what you think. This will likely all effect us in someway

What did they mean with high-reach accounts? 10k+ ?

i have no trouble with this because i running 500+ accs but i do small actions.. and i didnt get so much followers ^^ so i will never be a high reach account.

They notified me about it in the app saying 'high reach accounts like you' even though I only have 5k followers. I do get close to 1 million impressions per week though.

the last point of "other high volume account" will affect me big time!!

it will help to build niche accounts really well... Imagine being able to follow all indians who follow Shroud

Creating high quality content, thats what it all comes down to. The funny thing is that its a tiny niche, the biggest account has 25k followers. Still trying to find a way to catch up to him, I get around 250 follows per day but he probably gets more

I would guess he's using automation and power likes because those are good numbers. Sometimes I get 100 day and I thought that was really good lol.

I dont do f/u on the account with 1m impressions, its all natural (no powerlikes either). The biggest guy in the niche isnt doing f/u either, cant be for sure about powerlikes though i guess. But I think he just started a lot earlier than me and thats why hes the biggest.
Currently Im thinking about using feeder accounts to drive more followers to my main, will see how it works out. That might be the way I can catch up to him

That's legit crazy to pull those numbers organic. Would be interested in seeing that account, you really know how to spike a guy's curiosity

I don't really think this will affect many people. All it seems to really do is prevent impersonation

They're basically preventing people from renaming IG accounts so easily and re-brand a lot. Sucks.

Like I said, its completely organic, so no real 'method' there. But yea I use hashtags too

Wow organic!! That is huge. Just checked mine and for the last week I got 9 million impressions but that is using powerlikes, powerviews and powercomments though.
