Boost your ranking by optimizing your SERPS (almost 50% Increase in clicks)

Woke up to see this erection-style hockey stick in my webmaster tools thought id share a quick tip.

The only change iv made in the past few days was tweaking my serps.

Heres what iv done :

1. Made how my results pop on google [serps] more "click-bait" friendly
For example:" Best 10 XXX - You NEED to read this before buying a XXX, unless you want to lose money" type of descriptions and titles in serps

2. Added the "reviews" features that give you these neat stars in googles results

Result after just a few days -

You see this little hockey stick that finally broke the 300 clicks level? thats whatsup.

Now, I cant say 100% that this change is directly correlated with the results, but I can say its absolutely the ONLY change iv made in the past few weeks... won't hurt trying though

I actually only thought about that since i started dealing with adwords... you always want your SERP result to take as much real-estate as you can ... meaning the bigger the space your site takes in the SERPS, the better. period.

Yep, that is why META description does matter. While not a ranking factor at all, CTR contributes to it and thus like you did a clickworthy description can often increase CTR and sometimes the serp position too (even if not it is so easy to do why not give it a shot before spending more on PBNs)

Great question bro but it wont help you because im actually constantly changing the description itself lol im trying to squeeze as high a CTR as I can.. Im using call to actions in the meta descriptions, trying to add some copywriting techniques and what not... definitely a crucial stat as google relies on CTR when it comes to ranking your site..

Definitely noticed that increasing CTR helps with ranking a ton
Also decreasing the bounce rate by making sure the first thing that pops is like a cool picture of whatever your article describes...

For instance -

3 Best Fishing Rods of 2018 -

The first image I would use at the top of the article (before the title even) will be a cool image of fishing rods and a text saying : Best Fishing Rods : REVIEWED!
or something like that.. that intrigues people to keep reading rather then seeing blocks of boring text right off the bat when they land on the page...

im still learning on how to get do that damn position 0 , seems like this can really help your traffic and give your site a huge authority boost (in the eyes of visitors at least)

So yeah def do these changes guys if you havent yet, i know were talking work but I can tell you that the site in the screenshot already made what it made last month, this month, and were only at the middle of the month (simply put, earnings for July will be DOUBLE the earnings of June, 100% increase)

Just use schme pro ist can do all the different structured data snippets (thats what google refers to), and you can then also just test them HERE as well

Btw - just got a position 0 for a very high search vol (over 20K / mo) keyword, made me an extra $1000 for this month in terms of conversions... (just found the affiliate product related to the keyword and it converts like crazy, its not amazon though)

Insane, this position 0 is lethal ... all i did is write some content that i know google will love to pick up for pos 0 for example if the keyword was "how to shave your head in 3 steps"

Then in the content I wrote something like :

<h3> Heres how to shave your head in 3 steps</h3>
1. Wash your hair
2. Grab a trimmer
3. Shave your head


Thats just an example of course, but when you make it easier for google to pick up your answer itll be easier for you to get position 0 .. hope that helped anybody! keep pushing ppl!

Ofcourse it is.
What does it mean already taken?
It's like thinking you will never get to page 1 because it is already taken.

It works with algo that chooses the best answer, you just gotta figure it out.

I 'stole' mine from other competitors, its not like I got the first position zeros... like nodyguy said its like outranking someone.

That being said I think you need to be on the first page already in order to get position 0.

And if you're trying to take someone elses spot just make sure you're giving a better answer on your snipet
