Need advice, I scammed people

Since we had 0 experience running a platform everything went to shit.

Sometimes it doesn't if there was intention, depending on where you are, negligence could be a crime as well. So either you face the consequences, or you go all out as someone else said, like Jordan Belfort, and live the high life (and possibly higher consequences).

If your too lazy to do a simple sign up prompt,
Thanks for the appreciation. ;) Btw main reason was something different and long story. Anyways, let me answer you if you are interested. Actually I landed here first time by some google search and looking some advice on forex trading. Here I saw a thread for the forex journey and followed him by his skype id. Later on he had shown me via teamviewer that he made big bucks and can also help me. I immediately invested and later on I got scammed. Thereafter I came to know that he faked the result by inspect element. So, from that time I thought that blackhatworld is not safe and after that I came here many times by google search result, read the journey but always afraid of even jump to page 2 and immediately go back to search page. But when I learnt enough of coding then I keep landing here frequently. And one day after reading a journey I decided to JV so finally kept my fear aside and joined. Hope now you get the answer. Just to avoid such a long story, I wrote I was lazy to register. But still I will say the same thing that you posted in contrast that you are senior and need respect, then ................

And btw, why you guys fighting with me. As I told you, I respect everybody, even those who are newbie, because everyone have some decent knowledge that others might not have. So If you respect me I will, otherwise, I dont give a shit to whom I am talking with if you dont (unless I have done some mistakes). Btw, rather than this stupid discussion, we both can use our time to write something valuable in this forum. So, I wont post after this. May God bless you.

You started it ;)

FYI, I am following this forum since 8 years now but never been so engaged before. Everytime I tried to type something, it said to create account and I am too lazy for that.

Soo...which is it? Gotta keep you stories straight if you're ever going to get that respect you desire.

OP:
I'm planning to open an idea of mine up to investors. If it flops, I am not paying anyone back, but I am starting with knowledge to do the thing I am claiming.

I think if you have the signed document from the clients you had about the risks involved in the business you were running then you did not scam them. But, if you were agreed on some other terms and you promised to give them profit then you scammed them. Now, you have a clear answer!

Surely they just bought utility tokens right?

Therefore not a true “investment” in your business. You didn’t sell them shares.

Obvs the tokens are ending up worthless but I’m sure the buyers knew the risks.

BTB is asking how did you know about BHW. You aren't a noob, could be just a lurker but you've been here before. With a google search, BHW isn't the "go to" place for scams. BHW does not even show up in a search.

funny how this board is called BLACKHATworld, yet some people immeditealy whine about legal consequences and legs deserve being broken in case of possible fraud... change the brand of your forum for god sake, CLICKBAIT... :D did you force your investors to invest? no... was there any official agreement or statement regarding their financial returns? I don't think so... lots of huge ICO disappeared with way more money (on purpose)... I just wouldn't give a fuck and move on to something I won't fuck up... might karma will hit you sooner or later in some form, well... be a man and roll with the punches

It depends on what your intentions were.

You said you paid developers and promoters to do things for you. So you paid for development and it didnt work out, it was an investment from their part so in this case no problem.

BUT its a lending platform ( arent those scams by default?? ) if it comes down to ' give me X BTC and Ill give you Y BTC back than this is 100% a scam.

So how exactly did the business fail? OP, where do you believe you went wrong? I think that many of us who are interested in starting cryptocurrency-based businesses can learn from your mistakes, if you care to shed some light on what actually happened.

Oh hell yeah it's a scam.
If you have no choice and got no funds then just exit.. You've got no damn choice.

I don't think so, that you scammed someone
Especially If there was a note that ''this is high risk ICO,''
