hashtags in first comment still works

Hi guys i saw alot of people ranking their image in hashtags top posts.they put the hashtags in first comment
Did you try this method?

I dont think they penalize it, why would they penalize a feature they openly support? Only difference is that you need to be fast otherwise your post wont start out right at the top of the new posts in very popular hashtags.

I thought hashtags no longer worked if you put them in the comments? I remember reading about that a couple months ago.

Just make a note (in notes on your phone) with 4 bullets and all the # you want to use, than copy paste it as comment. It looks nice and will save you time

I have done this but it's not working for me.
I was ranking as the top hashtag, then i checked my other non niche related account (with incognito) and can't even see my post there.

maybe shadowbanned, but most likely just because top hashtag posts are personalized.

It's not shadowbanned if its showing in the top comments, shadowbanned meaning it's only getting reach from it's own followers. So no hashtags and explor reach

you can see your own posts in the hashtags if you're shadowbanned.
