Saw this today while doing some prospect hunting - WTF.

The entire review section is extremely disgruntled 1* reviews followed by responses like this.

How are they still in business?

Looks like you found a gold mine to blead dry.

With social media 'staff' like that, you can't really do worse.

The reason he is most likely in business (my experience with dentists and dental contracts being signed for unions) is he is most likely one of a few covered on specific insurance plans.

Unlike doctors (which still can be challenging) a lot of dental insurance companies run their own offices. The insured most likely has limited options.

Hey Lightning. I've read a bunch of your posts and I'm real grateful for your contributions here.

I'm passing on this company because it's more trouble than I think it's worth... that being said, if you or anyone else wants their name I'll give it to you.

The irony here... Account manager is actually the clueless one - they don't realize how much they're hurting their company by publicly attacking customers like that lmao.

It's crazy... I would like to think that a business like this would just wither away in a free market but somehow it's here. As @lightningblitz pointed out, maybe there's something going on here that prevents the whole free market thing.

I feel bad for people who go to this dentist. The whole business looks fucked from the top down, and that's why I won't even try to help. Anyone that allows their business to reach this point has no respect for other people or himself... I would put $$$ on it that any ORM efforts I make would be destroyed the next day.

I enjoy my sanity.

Does the image in the post above even show? It's Randy from American Idol saying "it's gonna be a no for me dawg".

But it won't show on my browser :(

You need to point to the actual image itself, not the Google images results page.

Since Google removed the view image link, you can right-click the image and select "view image in new tab", then paste that link into your post. Alternatively, there are plenty of browser extensions to bring back the view image button.

The free market doesn't really exist when it comes to healthcare in the US. If your insurance company says there's only one approved dentist in your area, shopping around means paying for the entire procedure out-of-pocket.

Personally, I steer clear of these 'captive audience' professions, it's hard to sell value to someone who has virtually no competition.

Does anyone even know what business this is? Definitely really bad response!

This is just plain fuckery at this point. I would prefer paying for a good dentist than someone that straight up doesn't respect me. I am a customer you are supposed to provide the best service you can to me. Absolutely filth do not help them even if they are paying you a good amount of money (doubt they will pay you unless they agreed upfront) keep your dignity dude.

This is a potential treasure trove. Medicaid fraud investigations are on the rise, and bad reviews like these are a red flag. What are the chances they're this unprofessional with patients but handling all the paperwork right? Approach it from that angle, not "you're driving away patients" but "you're giving people the wrong idea." Just be sure to get in front of the right person.
