How do Youtubers get away with using others content?

I see lot's of Youtubers getting away with using other people's content, Youtubers like Daily Dose of Internet and other channels that use other peoples funny videos and make compilations out of it.

How do they get away with it?

I'm talking about those channels that do "funny compilation" or "fails compilation" they basicly compile a bunch of videos from other people and monetize on that. How is it even possible?

i know what you mean, seem that YouTube enforce the "fair use" policy differently, when it used by an authentic YouTuber with an established channel they will allow it, and when it's a new anonymous channel they may add a copyright strike...

I use a video of another user and make it take 2.5 millions when the original video had 2500 views and it was a year before i upload it hehehe magic?

Those youtubers actually have permissions to include the videos in compilations and they also get video submissions from people. at least thats how its legally right. Or if videos are creative commons. Otherwise they have no rights.

It is just matter of time they are caught. There are so many of these guys that you always see some videos.

No. You can check this for yourself by checking the most popular " funny compilation " channels on Yt.

They are clearly mentioning "Links to sources" and a lot of people actually click on those links to see the original videos.

This brings in a lot of traffic to those original videos.

No wonder they are not complaining.
