TL;DR;

Welcome to BHW :)

Welcome.

If what you say is true then you will be very welcome here. Offer some advice for proof as starters.

What methoda have you been trying lately?

I point all links at Pinterest boards and individual pins. Not to my site. Point links at a Pinterest URL and it has a high chance of ranking in Google web search or image search. A much , much higher chance than an equivalent number of links pointing at your own domain. Only Wikipedia is more loved by Google than Pinterest. Bringing traffic from Google and other sources to Pinterest boards increases engagement which makes your Pinterest account much more powerful. Here's a quick tip:

Use IFTTT to automatically post your Pinterest pins to Tumblr. Within the Tumblr image post, create an internal link to a page you create on your Tumblr blog.

e.g. subdomain.tumblr.com/pinterestboard

Edit Appearance --> Edit HTML --> Create Page --> 301 the page

301 the page to your Pinterest board. It's a non-redirected ******** link. Use lots of tumblr hashtags. Google will index hashtag searches and if you are lucky enough to appear in the hashtag feed when Googlebot visits, you get a ******** link from the main tumblr.com domain. And Tumblr will not suppress your post within the Tumblr feed because it does not detect an external link.

Go to IFTTT and use the development platform to create your own Applets. It is free and requires no programming skill.

Nice method. Are you doing this for adult? Or some other niches?

No, it's mainstream affiliate product marketing. I haven't been involved with adult since 2001. I use pictures of high-end stuff that most people can't afford as bait to come to my board. Tumblrs are pretty young on average and very unlikely to actually purchase the product. My goal is to get them to engage by repinning. This causes a snowball effect. More repins move your pins higher in the smart feed, which in turn causes more repinning, which causes your future pins to be listed higher in the smart feed by improving your "pinner quality". By using Pinterest as a doorway page, you don't really lose any money. Anyone who wants to buy the product can easily click through to your site. People who are just interested in looking at the product can repin it for later or engage with other content on your board. This will help you to make a lot more sales down the line. So, by sending traffic from other sources to Pinterest and having them engage with the content, you position your content to be seen by people who can afford the product. Pinterest is mostly affluent women 30-50 years old.
