Preventing downloads is not the only problem. You can also protect your ebook from being shared too. There are pdf softwares out there that creates a unique pdf document, which is only good for one computer. They can print, copy as many as they can but it will work with only one computer. You might want to consider that as well.

I was thinking last night there must be something like this, if you had a high value ebook then being able to protect it would be well worth your time.

I guess in the end it boils down to the fact most people who find and use the copies were never going to buy the thing in the first place.

Your site should just show up. Usually, CB will remove the site from marketplace if it hasen't made a sale in 60 days. It takes until the next business day after approval to get listed.
