Google dance question?

I started buying backlinks for a few different landing pages on my site about 3 months ago. So I think it is about time I see some changes in my SERP.
I have seen some changes but my words are losing position. They are going down in the SERP.

Hopefully this is the "google dance" I have heard about and things will improve in a little bit here.

I started buying about 3 months ago and have been buying a new package every week since then.

Anyway, does this sound like the google dance to you.
Because when I started buying PBN links I also slowed up the web 2.0 link building I was doing. I did not stop it but I did slow it down. (I just backed off of my RankerX blasts a little bit)
So maybe this is why they are losing position too.

Almost always I've seen a dip/Google dance before a ranking increase and when backlinks kick in. In the screenshot below, my rankings always took a dive for this particular site and bounced a little bit higher each time. This was always around the time I built links.



However, it never took 3 months so that's a bit concerning. This usually happened within 1-2 weeks of doing off-page SEO.

How many links you have been buying every month?
What type of links? PBN, or something else? Do they have good quality?
What is the anchor text distribution on those links?

Are you buying PBN links with mostly exact match anchors? If so you prob dropping down due to over optimisation.
