Hello all i am new here although i am following the forums for many years for info.
I decided to start a drop-shipping business on shopify cause i am kind of broke. :P
So i made my research, decided my niche and keep customizing the shop.
My plan is to start it at the begging of September

So my question to you folks.

I have a very limited budget for marketing (100-200usd) and i want something that has kind of fast results in order to be able to re-invest and improve my business.
I understand that SEO is long term investment and maybe doesn't have the fast results i need in the beginning. (correct me if i am wrong)

What would you suggest me?
FB ads?Instagram ads?
influencers,buy traffic for my website?

Tell me your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks in advance and happy to be part of the strong community.

I wouldn't bother without a marketing budget of 5-10x this.

But why?can't i start that low and build it?
Invest some money get some sales, reinvest more money and so goes on...

I believe 100-200 is too less to start with - good luck though

Thanks i think i will give it a try...
Not much to lose ,so much to learn...and maybe succeed.
So would be the best choice to invest that money in your opinion?

You can't expect fast results with that kind of budget. I'd advise you to start slow and grow an Instagram page for your store via follow/unfollow (you don't have the budget for other methods). Also, start getting emails via popups. Use Mailchimp, it's free till 2000 subscribers. Good luck.

Try Instagram Shoutouts or better build your own audience.

Thanks.
i was planing on creating social media pages for my shop so it is in my plan.
I haven't planned any email strategy yet cause i have no customers :P

Generally i don't want fast cash..(although it would be great)
If i spend 200usd for ads and bring me back 250$ ..this is a win for me...

You read my thread? :D

no i will read it when i come back home...
i just saw you suggest 500$ at least to start...
I will invest more money gradually but i only can afford half of your min budget in the beginning..

I think your budget is good. My suggestion is building your IG and getting sales from there. Depends on the product though. I got my first sale with less than 500 followers, no budget and the a free estore, so everything is possible. Just try out yourself!

I will try it out for sure...
I just need to research a bit more about social media marketing and i will jump into it as soon as possible.

If you had 1 way to invest that 200$ what would your choice be?

That's just my opinion. Nevertheless, when you read it you will find out you can do a lot without investing instead of money it will take a lot of time.

anything is possible bro, even without money. you just gotta hustle more to get everything rolling.

If I have 100 to 200 dollars to begin with in IM, here's what I would do.

1) Grab an expired domain from @Nargil , It won't be powerful at all but you will get the rankings a bit faster than "new domains". IMO.
2) Register an account on Amazon affiliate and start targeting super easy keywords. "You will find many guides here for this".
3) Build manual Web 2.0s and they will be more than enough to rank those super easy keywords (with low search volume).
4) Once you rank on some terms, probably after 1 or 2 months. place the affiliate links.
5) Wait and get more money content until the site makes $100 to $200 a month.
6) Flip it on Flippa for ($2000 to $3000).
7) Now you have enough funds to start seriously in anything you want. If you liked Amazon affiliate + SEO then scale it and invest it, If you didn't like SEO at all, jump to Dropshipping + Paid ads etc..

That's it. :)

I would start with 4 Ad Sets at $5 a day - that's $20 in your first day.

It will take you at least 3-4 days to get any meaningful data to analyse your Ad Sets.

You then need the FB algo to do it's magic, which will take another few days. So you're spending at least $140 before you get down to optimisation stage.

Based on what you've written, I would assume you're not experienced in running FB ads. If this is the case, you can easily spend your $100-200 budget without any sales.

Also if you get the sale, you might not be able to withdraw instantly, while you have to pay the buyer additionally from your remaining budget.

Everything is possible even without money if you hustle, but you gotta be realistic as well. If you don't know the market well enough, you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. No matter how lucrative an industry maybe, you can succeed only as much as you know about it. So don't go in with half knowledge. The hustle and the knowledge should go hand in hand.
