Domain renewal through Goddady discount?

Hi there, I need to renew my domain through Godaddy which I bought almost a year ago. It cost almost $20 and I wanted to know if there's a way to buy from Godaddy and to make it cheaper? Somehow to get a promo code that will make it a bit cheaper?

Not sure if it works every-time but when I tried to get auth code for transfer out the domain GoDaddy, Godaddy Offered me instant coupon for renewal. U should try too. Also, Which TLD costing you $20 ?

I am also not sure if it works or not, recently when 2 of my domains expired (Godaddy) i tried to renew both added both to cart and changed my mind and closed the browser. Godaddy sent 25% off code once and again 35% off once. Better you try once(Check your spam too )

Ok they showed me the price in my currency instead of dollars, so they converted it to way too much In dollars it is $15 for renewal.
I tried that and they offered me a 20% coupon code! Which makes it $12. I declined the offer however. It's not very bad, but is there a better coupon I can get? Or if I declined this offer they won't offer again at all and I'll have to pay full price anyway?

Transfer Out the Domain to Namesilo. It'll cost only $8.39.
