3 days is usually the best, however, I personally have the unfollow limit at 1000 following, so once it hits the limit, I start unfollowing. Therefore, it's usually one day or so.

I do not think it works with me.
since I do, follow / unfollow, at the same time.
I do not pass the 2000 following

You can disable the unfollow module. Anyways, do what's best for you.

unfollow non-followers after 2 days and followers after 6-7 days. This works best for me atleast. Going too high on following lowers down followback rate and only gets non-engaging followers. Also it makes others lose trust and unfollow.
