[Help] Need to restore site from Wayback Machine

I own a small amazon aff site which making between $50 - $150 per month. I was working on a new site and totally forgot about it. Recently i got a mail from hosting that my site is having malware and now the site is not working anymore. They tried to restore it on a previous date but still they were not successful as the file were already infected at that time according to them.

My hosting company completely gave up on the site and told me to start it from fresh (worst hosting ever) . I was taking backup of the site each month and remove the previous backup. The backup was taken by using updraft plugin. And i don't know how but i am still not able to restore the site propbably there is some problem with the backup file.

And now i am clueless that what to do ? The site is available in wayback machine but how i restore back to wordpress site from the waybackmachine ? Is there any way i can do it using any wp plugin ?

And how can i deal with my hosting to pay for my loss. They have really costed me my business. I don't weak passwords or null themes and plugins and the malware emerged from there server it is totally there fault.

Same thing happened to me two years ago- Sites got infection; Hosting refused to Help.

I then took one programmer service to restore my sites on another hosting.

End result: Sites again got infected. It occurred 3-4 times before I gave up and threw the sites in trash.

Summary: Once site gets infected, it's easy to restore but difficult to run.

You can restore only frontend (html, css, JS, images....) of your website for free using open source software . If you want to restore backend (like your cms) then its better to hire somebody.

Is the site designed in wordpress? If so do you have the database?

Use the DB on a new site and don't private software in the future...

Thanks to this site http://archiveorg.download/index/ i am able to get complete file but they are pure HTML and other hardcoded stuff. Nothing like wordpress as it was.

Any solution. What should i say to the hosting to get things done.

I had something similar a couple of years back, got a freelancer to do the job for me, and asked them to sort out onpage etc too.

If you need to copy an articles or something which is not related with code you can do it. Either talk to your developer who made your website he have a website back up sure.. He will restore it and change the password in this way that it's not being effected from anywhere.

Have you got a copy of the DB...? If so, delete all the files, install a fresh copy of wordpress. Add your theme (providing it is safe, not some nulled crap), plugins (safe of course) and start again.

Change your passwords too.

How is your .sql file corrupt? Go log into mysql admin and export all.

I had a major problem with a site, I turned to @aqibarif74, like some sort of magician they restored everything on their hosting. Three years later I'm still with them. They know their stuff, give them a shout
