Hey People,
Just want to ask a few questions related to one of the affiliate networks. What I want to ask is not related to the network but the offers and their entire process.
I was contacted by someone here on BHW. I am looking at starting with Sweepstakes. So browsing about the same & is when was approached for promoting CC submit offers. For example, something like - 1 Year subscription of Netflix for $1 or An iphone x for $1 etc.
The offer converts upon successful CC submission(Of course as it redirects the user to a payment page, for charging $1).
The affiliate manager who approached me, made an account for me. Yes, you read this right! He asked for my basic info in order to set up an account as he said that it usually is invite only. So he had set up my account using my info & then I got email with my username & password. Now, this was a little weird.
So did it to see what will be next. Then was told about the available CC submit offers.
Payment cycle - 15 days
Payout - $30 per conversion.
Being a pretty high payout, I do think that these offers may convert very well and would give a nice ROI. So I thought that I should give this a test & see how it goes.
I was then given an affiliate link with my ID to promote.
What I found a little strange was - The affiliate manager asked me to host the offer link on my own.
Just sharing all this to get your thoughts on this. Please do share your expertise and please guide if this is all normal?
P.S - I did run a test campaign for checking on the kind of engagement I should be expecting when going live. Must tell you that by spending about $9, I was able to generate about 12 leads. Now, these leads are highly targeted & engaging audience so I do expect them to give me a great conversion.
But am unsure about the offer itself. Like why do I need to host the offer link myself? Usually, its not like how this works!
Feel free to recommend if there's anything better you guys can suggest.
Maybe different offer types etc.
I know I can promote email submits/SOI too, but am not able to find something which can give me a good payout like $3/$4 per lead or more.
