Buy followers worth it?

hello to everyone, it's something that I've been wondering for a long time ... buy followers worth it? I know very well that most instagram gurus do not recommend it, but the other day I fell into a profile of about 470k followers and lost 1000 a day, so I thought he'd bought them ... the fact that that profile It's very active! receives thousands of likes and comments, so I wonder if buying followers, as a sort of "social proof" can work to have organic followers, what do you think?

Other should work for social proof but, but if your engagement is low and you have a lot of followers, most people will know that you bought many followers and out likely not follow you.
And besides if you want to do it for a business then I would recommend you not to do it, you can try powerlikes and DM groups, they are good for instagram growth.

It depends on what your account is about. If it's in a generic niche and the name isn't meant to promote your brand, then fake followers won't do much for "social proof". (i.e. throwing fake followers at your cute cats account)

However if you have a brand - it can help, but you have to be careful with it. If you're a small brand and you're throwing 50-100k+ followers at the account, that's only going to hurt you. Get enough followers that makes sense for your brand, but then also promote with other methods so that you can boost your engagement. General rule: if your engagement is 1-2% you should not be buying more fake followers.

I'd add to that the number of comments as well. So if the post gets 70 likes and 5 comments and you have 1000 followers, that's a 7.5% engagement rate.

As for a tool to check this, I created a free tool for scraping / checking usernames if you're interested - though for just checking engagement it's probably overkill.

Fake followers are only good for vanity.
If you have 1K real followers and you're getting 100 likes/comments, that's 10% engagement.
If you buy 5K fake followers + the 1K that you have, you'll now have 6K followers. You'll still be getting only 100 likes/comments, so now your engagement is now 1.6%. That's a huge loss in engagement. Do you know see what the fakes did to your account?

Not only that, Instagram's algorithm will think that your "followers" don't like what you post, so it will stop showing your post to less and less of your real following. In time, you'll be getting 50 likes and lower in time.

Don't buy fake followers, they are as good as paying for porn and expecting to get a blow job from your computer/tv set.

You can fake the engagement too. If we're talking Instagram, you can also fake the likes on your photos and the views on your videos.

That said, I don't suggest anyone build their entire account only on fake followers/likes/views. Those things can help, but they should be used in combination with other marketing/growth methods, and that way they complement each other.

I mean, let's keep it real, people like to follow the crowd. You're more likely to grow a page that has more followers than one that has less followers, everything else being equal.

And as far as Instagram Followers go, be careful where you buy them from. You want to buy ones that aren't gonna drop by the thousands overnight, and that are of good quality.

Stop buying followers, likes and comments. These will F with your account and Instagram's new algorithm that measures engagement.
Remember, the fake followers will not like your posts. Buying likes does nothing for Instagram's engagement since these are not coming from those that follow you.
