Hi Bhw,

I’m creating content for a e commerce money site and am in the process of writing articles. My question is: can I simply watch YouTube videos and just reword it in my articles? I have found I can easily write 2k word articles within an hour using this method. It would be 100% unique summarization of the videos content and I would be typing while they talk.

Is this an acceptable content generation method? I know spinning is not optimal anymore.

Thanks!

yes obviously if those videos have good content then surly can be writte in words.

Yeah I understand that but then it seems like quality content is too easy to obtain. I know they don’t transcribe their own videos so if you just use their content in your own words why does anyone pay for articles when you can just type up your own? A VA can easily write articles at a much cheaper rate than what’s offered by most sellers.

Well, that depends. You can never know where the original authors of the videos in question got their information and content from. If they got it from an article and then put it in their video scripts verbatim, you might be flagged for plagiarism if you don’t alter the content enough while transcribing. If you simply write while you listen to the YT video, you risk transcribing the content word for word. And, to make sure you didn’t do that, you need to listen to the video multiple times. That’s not time efficient. I personally think it’s always better to use videos and articles as sources of information and then create unique content with your own point of view. If you don't have unique information, or a distinct point of view (so, if you're basically repeating what can already be found on the internet), your readers will lose interest.

If you know how to rewrite it and apply SEO to it, then go ahead. It seems that you have the time to do it, so go for it! :)

If you are sure that you can write unique summarization of the content of videos, then you should do that. Spinning is not good but make sure that you write an almost unique content to what the video has for your post

Yeah I would literally just rephrase everything and add my own knowledge to the video recommendations. I just figured this is an extremely easy way to get relevant T1 content if you are knowledgeable in the niche. It's basically prompts on steroids.

Thanks all, I think I'll use this method for my filler content while making sure I use my unique ideas on the cornerstone content articles.

just check for plagiarism before posting since the video itself can be made out from an article or the video publisher might have posted similar article on his own website.

If I put the article's url on copyscape and it says no results it's entirely fine correct?

That's correct. But honestly man, it's like 99% chance that its unique content and not a script. You can still do it if you want to be extra safe :)

If you going to write your own content without pass into the Copyscape, then you can proceed. While writing the content, just cross check with the contents over in the internet

I do not think it's a good idea. The video on YouTube often contains transcription. You will not get unique content this way. It will be useless.

Hi there. You can always look for online references to have ideas on what to write. However, it would be advisable to create your own content so you could include KWs appropriate to your niche. Contents are very powerful in promoting a website and business. The challenge would be how to make yours competitive and optimized so they could put your site on top searches like in Google.

a verbatim transcription is not a wise manner anyway. I know people who slightly rewrite the same content using different words then use it for another site, seems they are experienced with this since the sites are still safe.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you are happy with a decent quality article, then knock yourself out! Just make sure you have a quality software to check for plagiarism.

Make unique articles so visitors have interested . It will help your jobs .
